I really want to quit smoking. and I need an incentive to do so. In general, I want to cleanse my body and my thoughts. I believe this will help improve circulation and size. I have been on this site for a long time, periodically deleting pages, which I later regret. I've tried a lot, but I think cleansing the body can become a new stage in reaching the maximum size. I just really need support because I know it is very difficult to quit smoking. Just write a few words of support. This will help me.

I got you, This technique will change your life it can be applied to anything you want in life,
So, write down you want to quit smoking everyday, and then read it when you wake up and right before you go to sleep. For example,
My life gets better every day because I dont need to smoke any more. Or
My life gets better every day because I quit the need to smoke a cigarette.
Just get into your subconcious that smoking kills you and you want to be healthier.
Let me know how you feel in a week. Take Care

This is an odd place for this thread.
Tobacco is a chemical addiction and a workable solution to stopping will require at least addressing the chemical aspect even if you also want to address the spiritual aspects of your addiction.
I postponed the chemical side when I quit 38 years ago by smoking weed when I wanted a cigarette, it worked until I quit drinking a couple of years later and needed to also stop pot. But I did get all of the nicotine out of my system.
My husband quit after we met by using nicotine patches. His pharmacist asked how many cups he smoked per day. Then they estimated how many micrograms of nicotine he was ingesting every day. They added 50% to that to start with the patches, so that he wasn't going into withdrawal and had only to deal with what to do with fidgety hands and the psychology if it all. Then they gradually diminished the patches over the course of months. He's been tobacco free for 30 years now.

I quit many years ago but tried and failed some of the popular options at the time including hypnotism. I was able to stop for a few weeks, then "fall off the wagon" whenever something really stressed me out. I'd buy a pack, smoke a few then throw them away. I also used to bum cigs from one of my friends and only have one.

Eventually I was able to stay off them completely. One thing that worked for me was to take several deep breaths whenever I felt the urge. The feeling of filling my lungs with air was similar to what it felt like to smoke; only it was much healthier. I also increased exercise, esp. aerobics (running, swimming, biking) since it gave my lungs as well as my body a workout. Weight training helped too. Try to avoid triggers if possible...like drinking alcohol and coffee.

I don't think there is a "one size fits all" technique that works for everyone. You have to work with your body and try different things to see what works for you.

It's not easy to stop smoking, but the benefits certainly are worth it. My clothes, car and condo no longer smell like smoke. I no longer have to make late night trips to a store to get my fix when I run out of cigs. I don't have to rush out of gatherings to get a quick smoke because my body is screaming for nicotine; and I feel so much better healthwise.

Don't give up...even when you fall off the wagon. Get back up and start again. You are worth it.
