Because I can't get to the gym I decided to get resistance bands and they worked great! However, my back has been getting stronger and my compound workout is getting a bit to high (50/45/40).

Does anyone know how I can increase the resistance?

(I already at max band will all five. I thought about putting the bands more spread apart and doing time under tension)

I don't understand your question completely, but there are several things you can do to increase the resistance for bands.
Some of my work with them involves hooking them around doorknobs, and sometimes I will double them up/halve the length.
Similarly, for a reverse fly, you could stand on the band and do a bent over reverse fly.
And for a simple curl, stand on it to shorten the length.
You could also get a deadlift simulation, by standing on the band.

I hope this helps.

I’m using the “tubing” version over the flat elastic, and yes, shortening does add resistance.
I will have them under my feet, gather more in the “slack area” between the feet, which means the usable portion is shorter.
I actually started this because my set seemed made for a giant!

doubling over really adds resistance.

Oh cool, yeah mine are the colorful bands that attach to a handle. I thought about getting the tube ones. But that makes sense, I'll try to do the same to my bands, thanks!

you are welcome!
Always ask the short and frugal, lol
