we all know about Redcross.org and such places to make donations to, but I also wanted to put up a thread full of sites that helped in other ways. One I'm sure that most of you have heard of from the news already is http://www.allcoachescare.com where a bunch of NCAA coaches have donated sports items, tickets, etc and will have them up for auction starting on September 14th.

If anyone else knows of other things like them, post them here.

I'm glad the animal crisis in the disaster zone is getting decent media coverage in addition to the more obvious human crisis. Images of emaciated dogs wandering aimlessly and looking for food are truly heart-rending. Not to mention having lost or left one's pet behind on top of losing everything else must be devastating for many.

Agencies such as the Humane Society and ASPCA could use our help as well.
