Get a Mac. It's slightly more expensive, but they're about a decade ahead of Wintel.

I'll second the "Mac" suggestion! Been on a Mac since day one and absolutely *no* issues whatsoever! BTW, Dee, great site you have there.

7x6andchg: I'd get a Mac if I hadn't been "Windozed" since day one. They are easier to use, and most software is made for both platforms at this point.

WebTV to computers...that's a jump..but a good one, at least based on the last time I used WebTV.

I even work in the Mac software business and it's a joy. Most of the time.
