The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, ranks the US below those Socialist hellholes in its Freedom Index.

Extra bonus points for confirming once again that when a conservative says "freedom", s/he means money: Singapore, which is also above the US, forbids spitting

Yeah! Bbucko is back! I have a renewed sense of hope. I can feel the blood rushing to my legs. It's a FESTIVUS MIRACLE!

Well, according to their ranking, it's time to sell off all the Nevada stuff and move back to Kewlona, B.C. And isn't it interesting that #1 on the list, Hong Kong, is managed by The Peoples Republic of China? Interesting? Or just ironic?

(Midlifebear occupies himself with scattering Jacaranda and Rose petals before Bbucko's confident foot steps.)

Miraculous is just one of many epithets swung my way, sweetheart.

I saved the obvious head-exploding irony of the "freest" "country" for others to explore here: much like the Holy Roman Empire it is none of the above. Glad you took the bait.

And all this time I was thinking: 1. Well, there were Romans. 2. They had holes. 3. The majority of hunky Italians I know are tops. 4. Someone must have had a good time?

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I will hush now.

The Heritage Foundation spreads lies and hatred. If it's from the HF, you can bet it's hopelessly skewed toward their reactionary agenda.

Not that I disagree with your characterization in any way, but to what end is it to have bludgeoned the reputation of Canada as some sort of Socialist den of depravity throughout the entire HRC debate only to rank it higher than us in terms of "Economic Freedom" now?

    It makes no sense.

The heritage foundation are the same crooks that criticized a democratic bill in congress that would crack down on corporations using child and slave labor in the US and abroad. As soon as you think you've seen the absolute worst humanity has to offer, some right-wing lobbyists and/or think tanks manage to prove you wrong.
