Interracial Couple Banned From Kentucky Church
Tasty bit here
I don't agree with the church on this. But like any other issue that you may disagree with the answer is find a church that fits your position on issues. Not worth the time trying to change them.
I think it's rather sad that people want to gather and worship for whatever reason and they are cast out by others who are supposed to be there for the same thing, not to pass judgement.
Hopefully the small-minded will only succeed in eradicating each other.
I'm not really surprised by it. There are a lot of idiots in the world. I guess their god is different than many other people's gods
I embarrassingly have to admit that this does surprise me. :frown1:
Am I just that F'n nieve, that I didn't think that kind of shit still happened?
It makes me angry, sad, and disgusted all at once.
I thought blatant racism like this was Federally illegal?
Religion, Christianity. 2 different things all together.
IMO the members of the Kentucky church who voted in favor of the interracial ban are the ones that should go elsewhere as the church is part of the N.A.F.W.B. - a denomination which neither condemns nor disallows interracial marriages. Thus that Kentucky church, also being in a nation in which such racial segregation had been outlawed BTW, had to overturn that racist policy:
