Bord Namona Marishka and Irish!

(yeah i know. my Irish friends thought it would be hilarious if they told me that "Failte" wasn't REAL Irish and that "Bord Namona" was the real traditional greeting. I spent 2 weeks traveling all over Ireland with them greeting everyone with, "Bord Namona!" I didn't figure it out until they told me as I was about to board the plane home).

Now the story about "Bally Mahon" was something else......

Hey, I ended up seeing that movie like 3 times while it was out in theatres (not quite my own planning, but it happened) and I own the movie, so I would have to pass out in a filthy gutter before I forgot about that

Welcome to the group. My great great grandparents came from Ireland. They didn't know a word of English. Unfortuantely, I don't know where in Ireland they were from. My grandmother is dead now and she was the last person who knew all that stuff.
