I'm a solid Republican and I thought her speech was great. But of course, it begs the question, why in the world is she not on the ticket?

The GOP exploits fear. A black man and a white woman as leaders? Imagine what Fox News would say. Maybe in 12 years, once we've put all of that kind of crap behind us. But not while Rove is still alive.

You're not answering my question in the least.

I don't think there's any question what awesome politicians the Clintons are. The party wouldn't be worth anything if it wasn't for Bill and Hillary, and in the heat of the primary battle, they're thrown under the bus? ...It just sickens me, quite honestly.

...The fact that I've come to sympathize with Senator Clinton by this point is a little creepy though.

Wrong thread =) Don't hijack this awesome moment! hahaha
I'm not hijacking. I praised Senator Clinton's speech. I thought it was energetic and very well delivered.

It's a valid question. Joe Biden got what, a couple thousand votes before he dropped out, and Hillary got eighteen million?

Hillary Clinton was amazing. Pundits were discussing whether her speech would make Obama and his supporters think he made a mistake in selecting Biden for Vice President...

After that speech, its clear the pundits were wrong...Hillary Clinton had superdelegates and America thinking they made a mistake in selecting Obama for Presumptive Nominee!

I wondered whether I would even be slightly persuaded after her rousing speech but it was so good that there is no way I'd support a candidate I don't believe in.

The four more years...if it is to be so...will be the result of the Democratic Party losing its democratic principles and refusing to nominate the best candidate for President. It was so clear tonight who the best candidate for President was...Hillary Rodham Clinton.

I'm glad she supported her Party so valiantly...she is an honorable woman. But there may be consequences to the Democrats selecting second best...you may not win.

I do think it was a beautiful speech. I was surprised by how much i liked it. It definetly showed a likeable and inspirational side of Hillary.

and even though it might have been staged, i thought Bill Clinton mouthing "I love you" over and over with watery eyes and a smile as Hillary was on stage was very touching.

That was a great speech. I love that woman. She will have her time.I love when she asked "Did you get in this process just for me?"

...but you missed the subliminal "wink wink".

You may have to upgrade your TV set to a standard supporting that advanced functionality.

She was fucking awesome!!! Best speech in decades! The woman is amazing. If Obama wins, she needs to be Senate Majority Leader, and put on the Supreme Court. She is just essential to the Democratic Party. One of the greats!

I could see her getting tapped for Sec. of State.
