Female Genital Anatomy 101

For the purpose of this short lecture, I will create a woman and a man. Their names, respectively, will be Emily and John.

In fact, John had passed Emily's cervix before even pressuring the last inch of his dick in her. What John and Emily do not know is that, as her vagina grows inside of her, Emily's cervix moves and shifts to a position which is slightly back but more-so further up (towards the outside of her stomach) than its position when Emily was not aroused at all.

THANK YOU! I've been LAUGHING at all these "I/he hit her/my cervix and it turned me on more.... your cervix (especially for the size queens here) comes before the back of your vagina... odd it's taken two men to explain this... really.

In an "unstreched" (sorry I have to resort to street vernacular)... yeah you'd hit the cervix first... but otherwise... the vagina streches out/back past the cervix... and it will then lie perpendicular to the vaginal cavity/canal. You think a 16" dildo... (which I've seen 'ingested'... goes into a cervix, and up???).

Here's what I cervix looks like, ...if anyone with an empty stomach cares Cervix Special.

iwfuutaudls: Hehehe - I am glad that the story finally cleared it all up. I had to make it into a story in order to explain it successfully without getting too nasty about it.

And for those of you who are wondering .... I learned all about the Female and Male Sex Organ Anatomy from my bestest of best friend's oldest sister .... she is currently a Medical Student at the University of California in San Francisco :bounce: .... she is also a valiant size queen

Now just what happens, and what is the track of the venturing penis, if it is jammed in with little foreplay to produce the extension, repositioning, and engorgement and lengthening of the vagina???? A relatively dry expedited entry?

iwfuutaudls: Thank you for your Female Genital Anatomy 101 addition to this thread. Your creation of Emily and John added immeasurably to your exposition, and your description of their natural genital reactions is clear and informative. I'm looking forward to your answer to blackwood's question regarding the track of John's venturing penis if jammed into Emily's dry vagina, unsufficiently engorged, lengthened, extended and repositioned. This would only heighten the importance of foreplay, which sometimes seems to be rationed with some eagerly self-centered individuals.

blackwood: Your "lucky Emily and John" comment is apropos. We can always count on your timely and well-informed posts.

faceking: Thank you for the cervix picture. Instead of having a nauseous effect on me, its wet, warm appearance has caused lots of stirring in my loins -- much better than a queasy stomach :excl: Your added vernacularly descriptive term leaves nothing to the imagination and fits (so to speak) the subject. Biology of Sex probably was a beneficial substitute for your "cool" sex-ed class.

You know Luke, the pic is deserving of a place in the galleries. I too found it very titilating. It really is a thing of beauty.

The cervix is at the top and toward the rear of the vagina. Like the g-spot, not every woman's is in exactly the same place. Likewise, the tilt and angle of every woman's vagina is somewhat different, so while your information is correct, it deosn't mean the cervix gets no contact, can't be bruised, or isn't stimulated during intercourse! I'm glad you got third hand information to pass along to us, but any gynecologist will tell you that it is possible to bruise the cervix during intercourse, especially if your partner is larger than average. No, it's not at the "back wall" of the vagina, it's more at the top. Doggie style with a large member is the most likely way to bruise it. Since you don't have one, I can see why you like to think of this as a myth, but I find it perturbing that everyone (men) is so eager to make light of what can be a serious woman's issue, or another place to stimulate. Peace out.

Yes, blackwood, I agree it should be there. It does more for me down there, and your descriptive term "titilating" indicates the same reaction for you, than lots of the disappointing and sad cock pictures it's composed of. Oh, well, all do deserve having their picture posted, however. Thanks for your agreement and suggestion.

I did not say the cervix gets no contact. Nor did I say it can't be bruised. All I said is you can not hit it directly. Nor can you penetrate it. You can not go past it and into the uterus.

The contact it gets is, as I've said, friction as the cock slides past it. It is the same contact that the g-spot gets. Which is why your brain blendes the two. The sharp pain you feel when a dick goes too deep is not your cervix. It is the vaginal pocket being pushed into the net which holds up your intestines.

As for saying that I do not have a large member: This is the 5 or 6th time you've attacked me like an elementary school kid on a toddler's playground. The fact that I don't even bother to prove you wrong ought to give you alot to think about. Especially since you are alot older than me. Or are you just a clown looking for a rumble?

Now, the doggie style theory. Yes it is possible, but only at an extreme angle of penetration. I also illustrated this in my previous post.

---> Ramming your cock into a dry vagina. OWWWWIE - why the FUCK would anyone want to do that?!?! Not only will it hurt the poor girl into shock - it will chafe the skin off your dick. If you "were" to put it in a dry vagina - and that is a very big IF - you would hit her cervix. I don't know if you could actually penetrate PAST it and into the uterus. Nor am I willing to ever try and find out. But you would most certainly burise and maybe even crack the cervical tissue and cause bleeding.

I said you didn't have a cervix! I wasn't questioning your dick size, nor do I care. I was stating that some of the information you posted was erroneous and if you're going to use a condescending tone, you should be more sure of your information. The "complicated postion" you described is nothing more than doggie style, you were being melodramatic. No one suggested penetrating the uterus, that's absurd, so why are you refuting things that haven't even been said? This is getting silly.

Jana, I understand why iwfuutaudls thought your were saying he's not hung, since the sentence: "Since you don't have one . . ." seems to refer to the preceeding sentence stating "Doggie style with a large member. . ." Some of the disagreement might be due to faulty sentence construction. I appreciate both of your contributions to the cervix thread and hope for peaceful settlements. Can you give a little?

Of course, I can give in. But the sentence does say "doggie style with a large member is the most likely way to bruise IT." IT being the cervix, which was the topic of our conversation. If I want to impune a man's penis, I wouldn't say he doesn't have one- that doesn't even make sense! You guys really need to get over your ego attatchments to your dicks, women don't have the priveledge of being so super-sensitive.

Oh, I'm posting this link to a site that has a medical picture of a woman's anatomy. Even though there can be some slight variations amoung women, for most the cervix is very nearly at the rear of the vagina, thus being hit both in normal intercourse and especially in doggy style- no gymnastic position necessary.

You might find this very interesting:

http://bmj.bmjjournals.com/cgi/content/full/319/7225/1596

and also this:

Conference Report - Third Annual Female Sexual Function Forum
from Medscape Ob/Gyn & Women's Health

Anatomy
Masters and Johnson were able to assess anatomic changes occurring with physiologic arousal in women by using an artificial penis and a transparent speculum.[9] The development of new technologies has enabled scientists for the first time to obtain a true depiction of the relative positions of female and male genital organs during coitus in different positions. Dr. Antoine Faix of the Clinique Beausoleil, Montpellier, France, presented actual anatomic visualizations of sexual intercourse using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to the awestruck audience. He was able to compare images obtained between missionary and rear-entry positions with the same couple. The male took 50 mg of sildenafil to enhance the erection. Interesting observations in the missionary position were the 75% lengthening of the vaginal wall and vaginal tenting and the boomerang shape of the penis inside the vagina. In the missionary position, there is a preferential contact of the penis and its glans with the anterior vaginal fornix and wall, with upward and forward movement of the uterus and a raising of the bladder neck and the urethra. In the rear-entry position, there is a preferential contact of the penis with the posterior wall of the vagina, the rectum, the cervix, and probably the posterior fornix.
Clearly, further research evidence is needed to replicate the findings of Dr. Faix and the postulated implications for clinicians.

I couldn't help responding to our recent "anatomy" lesson.

The notion that you can't hit, and therefore can't bruise the cervix, is ridiculous. Also, there is no net of cartilage holding up anyone's intestines! Another absurd statement. The intestines are both supported physically, and supplied with blood, with a structure called the mesentery. Arteries and veins run through it. For example, the initial portion of the small intestine is supplied by the superior mesenteric artery. There is NO CARTILAGE in these mesenteries! (Just as there is no skin in the mouth). I don't have time to completely pick apart the "lesson," but nobody should view it as anything more than entertainment.

Wow, now I'm the one eating crow. I apologize, Jana, because you couldn't have made it any clearer with IT being the cervix. Yeah, some guys (and me included) do have an ego attatchment to their dicks. I'll try thinking more with the head on my shoulders and ask for your forgiveness on this one.

Luke, absolutely no hard feelings. I have been bitchy as hell lately so I apologise if I came off too harsh. I frequently feel that I'm fighting an uphill battle trying to be understood, so maybe I don't explain things as clearly as like to I believe.

When it comes to sex, about the ONLY thing that brings me to full orgasm is cervical massage, which sux bigtime. I know this is an exception to the rule, but I DO exist and I know there must be at least a few women out there like me. To have someone post things implying that all women are one way or another drives me right into insanity, because I happen to not fit that mold. Things like "all women orgasm better from clitoral stimulation", "all women only have nerves in the first few inches of the vagina", assumptions that "all women who like big dicks are egomaniacs who don't care about men as people", well you get the picture. Sure, there's only a small handful of women on here (because MOST women DO fit the mold) and it's unlikely that many if any of them are like me, but geez it would be nice to not always be the freak. Then when it goes so far that someone posts a ridiculous story in opposition to medical facts, I see red because I damned sure as hell know where my cervix is and what it does. I wouldn't presume to "inform" men on how their penis works, because I don't have one!

The best answer to the "Do women like having their cervix hit?" question is the same answer that applies to women in general:

Some do, sometimes.
