I have about a four day limit with Vegas; I think everything can be done in three days and nights. Of all the hotels I've stayed at I prefer The WynnI can't recommend the restaurants highly enough.
I think I have seen every Cirque Du Soleil show and have enjoyed each one as much as the others.
If you have time go to Hoover Dam and possibly take a side trip to
Lake Powell
I've been to Vegas many many times and have done everything from skydiving to watching men dance naked and renting a boy. You will loose your gay card if you don't visit The Liberace Museum!
Have fun and remember to play safe otherwise everything that happens in Vegas won't stay in Vegas.

It's all about gambling, so be prepared for that. Like Nudeyorker said, 3-4 day maximum stay. The Liberace Museum is closed (just closed in fact). Hoover Dam is a must see. The big luxury hotels all have beautiful pools, and restaurants abound on the Strip. I've stayed at Luxor, MGM Grand and The Riviera (which was in need of freshening). It's fun to casino-hop; they all have different themes, one more outrageous than the other. Also there are many shows with top-name entertainers.

Like any big city.... watch your money, keep your wallet in your front pocket.

If you like Tequila, visit the Isla bar at Treasure Island. Best selection ever. Shows... Cirque de Soleil is pretty darn entertaining. Not sure if Stomp! is still showing, but it's the Blue Man Group (also a good show) without all the effects.

The Star Trek exhibit is closed down now (at the Hyatt), but I hear it's supposed to be re-opening? Anyway, when it was at the Hyatt, it was a blast (if you're a trekkie, and you like cheesy exhibits).
