This song might be my favorite thing about this time of year: YouTube - The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York
I have not thought of Suzy Snowflake in years , thanks for the reminder.During the Holiday Season our local TV Station runs three of animated shorts.
1. Frosty the Snowman
2. Suzzie Snowflake
3. Hardrock, and Coco, and Joe.
Anyone else know these three?? They are black and white.
I do the same thing to my other half, count your blessings; sometimes I act out the song and sing and dance around the room when it's playing! How about my LEAST favorite Holiday Song recording. This one makes me want to stick knitting needles in my eyes.
Unfortunately, my husband is a Huge Babs fan and regularly subjects me to this torture.
Jingle Bells Barbra Streisand
Oooh, I love that one too, but it's always felt ominous and creepy o me - doesn't really fit with other Christmas music.
That's exactly why I like it. Maybe I'm just weird
But I really love "classic" Christmas songs, sung by choirs- see my other posts
We're weird together then
Me too - they make me feel all shivery. I'm not terribly into the modern ones that many others have mentioned (except for the Southpark ones).
