You're fighting to the death on this, irrationally. When the reasons are abnormal, the suspicion runs high.
I Must agree on this one, but on the other hand. What are the reasons for sticking to a story so long if it is all a lie? I can only say that due to the last few posts and also specifically answering my questions I have a hard time believing in fraud anymore. I keep the back door open, but if this is still all a crazy blown up mindgame then its a damn good one.
For now I shall act like Risi Simms is in fact, the person behind the stagename.
So you agree regulation should be enforced? In america the porn industry fights against regulation but fights for the right to be seen as legitimate business.
Regulation should always be enforced, a law which is not used or bend is a bad law. The key here tho, is that control over the industry is only possible when it is legal to have such an industry in the first place. The porn industry is in my eyes potentially a legitimate business and with proper control it should smooth itself out. What worries me tho is that your country is not ready for this or willing to do so. Religious sides and conservatives keep the porn industry illegal and shady.
The fact is that any industry which is pushed into the underground has a hard time staying clean and humane. So in my eyes it is not the case of putting the blaim on the industry alone but more so on the people who force it to seek loopholes. Clean it up, write up guidelines. Start a union. Prostitutes in my country have an union who fights for the rights of their members, looking after clean and save working conditions and fighting the types you know so well. All this together with the authorities. It is no utopia I can tell you that but at least there is some form of insight and control. Porn is here to stay, better accept it and work with it then fight against it.
Still my statement about not overdoing state influence stands, people are still essentially responsible for their own actions and not the state. In my view they have the right to control and clean it up, get rid of the rotten parts but they must let adults decide for themselves if they want to do porn or not, and these adults in return must accept the risks connected to their choices.
I will not say your story miss Simms is a happy one, but I simply refuse to accept it all happened without your doing. I mean this with all respect. I can accept you made bad choices and regret it. Bad things happen at least partially because you allowed them to happen. It takes strength to admit that, I know as I made many mistakes in my life as well, but I do not point my finger to others as I did it all to myself. Nobody else can be hold responsible for the path I took. I believe strongly in free will, even when forced or under pressure there always remains a sparkle of choice. Free will is only dead when you are six feet under. Remember many historical figures have proven that chains can be broken, altho not without strife. But I digress, what I mean to say is I can see where some poster come from if they are not overly sympathetic to your cause. On the other hand I can also see your side.
