Not that it's been a slow week in the Holy Crimes department. Check that thread soon. But this thread is dedicated to those who make outright lies and disseminate purposefully incorrect information regarding homosexuals, be it "lifestyle", same sex marriage, gay adoption, gay executions, and other related stuff -- all of which is directly related to politics. It will also include the lies spouted by Ollie of the North and other public/political figures who think the world would be a better place if we all drove 1955 Chevy Belairs.

This first installment comes from a recent article by the Orlando Sentinel's Max Scott. A christian uber right group, pissed about the recent favorable Florida ruling allowing a lesbian couple to adopt purposefully used a photo of an androgynous (and somewhat old-fashioned dyke-on-bikes) couple, insisting that was the couple seeking to adopt a child. It wasn't the husky gals with the scary faces (if, indeed the photo was of a couple of gals). The plucky christians were just trying to whip up group-think anger.

Check out Gay adoption case: Judge's ruling for child stirs up adoption-ban proponents - OrlandoSentinel.com for a full account of the christian deceit.

    The shame.

I was thinking Billy Ray Cyrus and Delta Burke. Yet even the depicted butch couple shouldn't be denied the right to raise a child on the basis of their appearance.

A blatant misrepresentation and distortion of facts.

Sadly, this is what I expect from religious wing nuts these days.
This should keep me away from Church for another few years.
