    Hi guys,

I am young and I belive I have too much hair on my body. It's not normal to have freakin' thick hair from your ankles up to the middle of your back when you're 18.

I've been studying the possibilities for hair removal:
    -Shaving (Obviously)
-Plucking (With a tweezer: which works really well but is time consuming)
-Waxing (Painful and messy but reduces the hair growth on a long term scale)
-Laser haire removal (Slow but permanent)

I tried the three first ones and I feel embarassed when it grows back. If I take the jump for lazer for strategic regions such as my bum and lower back and the highest part of my legs (Boxer area)

I found that I can Do it a HOME :D
the product is called Tria Beauty. It is similar to the treatments given in the beauty salons but it takes a little more time. I checked all the possible reviews, but I wanted to hear some real testimonials.

Have you ever used that product or simply laser treatment? Did it work? any regrets? any suggestions?

    Thanks!

K I have much hair as well. very much. not sure if more than you. I thought about laser, but then I thought that once its gone, its gone. atleast with the hair you can always use creams liek Nair to get it off whenver you like, and it takes like 3 weeks to grow back so your good for 3 weeks. It depends if your doing it for yourself, or for someone else. I wanted to do it because I was very concious about it, thought i didnt look good, etc.. etc.. but the girl Im with who I plan to be with forever, she loves it (i never thought anybody would love it)....so before you take the laser route, just think about it and make sure your willing to live with it forever, because as I said, once its gone its gone.

and honestly, I used nair once on my arms, forearms, stomach, chest, and let me tell you I looked disgusting, very weird and abnormal. I just looked very wierd.

I'm interested in laser hair removal too, but only for disturbing places like on the shoulders and back. With my chesthair and leghair I can live, but not on the shoulders and back. I wouldn't regret ever if that's gone.

I have been trying to find a method or technique for removing my back hair for centuries. I used to be more limber and flexible, and could reach around with an electric or disposable razor and weed-whack that shit. But now I am more bulked up and dont have the flexibility. The spas all charge around $50, but problem is it grows back quickly so it gets expensive.

Has anyone found a clever way of shaving their OWN back ????? Would be nice if I could find a buddy to do it, but no such luck. My partner used to do it for me, but he has passed. Please let me know with your SMOOTH techniques.....

I pluck the hair off my balls and around my cock. Have been looking at this: Verseo ePen - Hair Removal System

This site also gives the instructions on how to use which will give some insight into it's capability.

I own and am using the Philipps Bodygroomer, a Trimmer & Shaver. It makes my hair grow faster and Thicker. I DO NOT WANT THAT!

If anyone has info on that Verseo Pen, I'd like to hear it. It seems the reviews aren't as positive as the Tria...

    Other ideas?

Yes but none of these systems seem designed for self removal of BACK hair. Not all of us has a buddy we can call over to shave us....

I had laser hair removal on my ball sac and shaft as well as shoulders. As I grew older started to get hair on my shoulders and thought it was gross - also two spots on my neck where I would get ingrown hair. 100% happy I did it. It took 4 sessions I think and it is completely gone. That was about 10 years ago and it never came back so I don't think it is. (It is 60-70% cheaper now so i would look into it but I would not do it at home - just go to a place that does it because you have to do it right or you could get a burn (it's like a sunburn - nothing all that serious).

I perform laser hair removal in the Boston area... those home devices are not really strong enough for permanent removal... too much of a company liability if someone were to burn themselves. If you are considering laser go to a reputable place that has the proper equipment. It works well if your hair is dark enough... takes several treatments over time, but it's permanent. These home machines may slow the regrowth, but it will all come back eventually

Bodygroomer is very good. I recommend it for trimming and shaving, but when you trim or shave, the hair gets thicker every time. I do NOT want that. That is why I ask about that TRIA laser hair removal system. but apparently nobody has tried it here so far...
