Lately I have started making my own beer. I don't know if it's the B vitamins from the yeast or what, but I have noticed an up-tick in my sex drive. Anyone else notice this effect from home brew?

Hi ! I´m home brewer. I´ ve been brewing for 5 years and never noticed any kind of changes in my sexual life due to my beer. I even brew many different styles in body, bitternes and alcohol and nothing.
    Cheers

Homebrews tend to have more hops than mainstream commercial beer.

Hops have some herbal properties. There has been research suggesting that they have health benefits. It's well known that hops are soporific (sleep inducing).

This year I tried growing a few hops plants, and just the other day made some hop tea... It was extremely bitter. Amazingly so. In terms of mood altering capabilities, it was roughly on par with herbal teas.

In other words, if you are stressed or anxious (there's a lot of that going around these days), you may find homebrews somewhat calming due to both the alcohol and the hops.

    Who knows, it could help.

    Regards.
