unfortunately in this day and age, hate or dislike if you will, is everywhere and so readily available. Words fulfill their purpose by allowing us an outlet for describing what ever emotion or situation we are experiencing.

Those words get used a lot because homophobia happens a lot as do many other hate based issues on a daily basis.

This is why I think these words get used more often, maybe I'm wrong but me thinks there is a bit of truth in my words.

Why are the words homophobic and homophobia used so frequently? In the past half hour I've read posts and 3 different people have been referred to as homophobic. It's not the worst thing you can accuse someone of, but do you think it gets overused and often out of context at times?

On a website dedicated to dick, you find this unusual?

I can understand someone being called homophobic within reason, but some of what I'm seeing is not right.

Yes, I do. People are calling others that far too often and without a good enough reason.

The two posts you cited were perfect Examples of HOMOPHOBIA, that's why

What are you talking about?

I did a search of those two words, homophobic and homophobia, and one search turned up over 1000 times the word was used and the other, over 2000 times. And I'm not saying all of those uses were out of context, but I see it being used a lot on here.
