My ex used to be like that...she was horny in general, and insatiable, up to and during her period. "Luckily" when we were going out she had an issue that she would bleed during sex if at any point I bottomed out...which happened somewhat often. It didn't hurt, but it could get somewhat messy. The point is, that as I'd gotten used to the blood already, I just kind of never cared about her period.
