im just wondering if I am the only one that gets horny while hunting. (Deerhunting specifically.)

It has nothing to do with the act of hunting. You just sit for long periods of time, and with a high sex drive, I usually think about sex and jerking off. Of course, having a smart phone makes porn a lot easier to find these days.

Whether I am in a tree or a box stand, I usually do it once a day and sometimes twice. I even fantasize about another hunter joining me, even if only to jerk off.

Apparently is does. I don't hunt, but live in an area and worked with a lot of str8 guys who lived for deer season. I respect the need for thinning the herd and had no problem covering work assignments for hunters that I worked with. At one place I had contact with every month the guys in the shop were planning a two week long hunting event together. They all went and returned at about the same time, and when they did they were all upset with a young guy - 20's - who went with them for the first time. Everytime he was in a blind or in a tree stand he would get excited, drop his pants and beat off - spraying the area with his load. His buddies were amazed and stunned. It was generally agrees that 1 - hunting made him horny, 2 - he has a very big cock, 3 - he shoots large loads repeatedly, and 4 - it greatly reduces the chances of getting near a deer.

While you cannot imagine it, I am thinking that some hunters might be able to relate. Every hunting situation is different. Some areas are more remote than others. A hunter might not always be near another hunter, but up to a mile away.

I haven't previously started a new thread on this site, but this is teaching me to be more specific. I intended to ask other hunters this question, instead of asking everyone whether or not they thought other hunters think about bating or not.
