Firstly - merry Christmas 
sorry if this is a bit long winded but wanted to share...
I just wanted to share something that happened to me in the past few weeks.
Long story shortened to start with, I managed to get an infection from a bite in my ankle, foot and lower leg.
It started off not being too bad, but quickly escalated to not being able to walk at all on my right leg and ended up in hospital on the run up to christmas.
I was popped on mega antibiotics and also an injection to ensure I did not have a clot in my leg from the infection which had caused a huge amount of swelling.
The problem is though - I could not do anything without a certain amount of assistance, I was totally unable to walk, get up and down stairs etc without having a friend to help.
