The specific position I would request on the campaign would be "backdoor gatekeeper", and then I would keep the back gate firmly secured for everyone except myself. :biggrin1:

I predicted the VP thing as soon as it looked like he had a good shot at taking the general. He's being groomed to pull the Hispanic vote, and the party leaders aren't wasting any time. He hasn't even taken office yet, and they had him delivering the Republican weekly address 4 days after winning the mid term.

The only question is, if he's on the bottom of the ticket, who's on top? :biggrin2:

The Republicans want to break the stranglehold the Dems have on the Hispanic vote--you can't win a Presidential election unless there is a shift in the 60/40 voting margin. A latino candidate would be helpful, but since Cuban-Americans already vote predominately Republican, a latina like New Mexico Governor-elect Susana Martinez, who is of Mexican heritage, might be a better bet...particularly if the Presidential candidate is male.
