That’s a great point. I was serious when I said that I think he was fighting everyone because he couldn’t fuck them. I really do believe that sexual frustration is at the root of a lot of his behavior (along with his massive and easily wounded ego). He got around A LOT before he got married. Maybe nine years of relative monogamy has been rough on his libido. Maybe being positioned as a locker room leader put a cramp in his style. Maybe being surrounded by younger talent who would happily suck him off in every sense of the phrase wore him down. Even the most faithful man can only handle so much temptation.

Only he positioned himself as locker room leader, which probably irked a lot of people. Besides, let's say they are all horny buggers on the road, Punk would be way down the list for most given some of the absolute trade in AEW.

He’s not my type and it can be tough to see it through all his straight edge posturing, but Punk is a very sexy person. He’s ruggedly handsome, engaging, funny, and has a lot of presence. I was charmed by him despite never begging a fan of his. He’s been a star at every company he’s worked for a reason and a lot of younger wrestlers worship the ground he walks on. That’s an attractive package. It’s just too bad he’s such a foolish bully.
