Hot Springs - Reno, Perhaps?

I have a hankering to visit some natural hot springs. I hear there are some in Arkansas and out west. I'd prefer to visit one where clothing is optional and I'm willing to hike several miles to reach it. Any suggestions? I have a friend near Reno I plan to visit, so maybe I should look in that area first. The jackpot would be clothing optional with some gay clientele, but I'm not expecting to find a bathhouse in the middle of the desert.

I've seen travel guides on the subject in the past, but have no idea if they still exist. quite a while ago I visited Wally's near Carson City, NV but it didn't have a reputation for gays or nudity. there's Lupin Lodge near Los Gatos, CA and the Red, White, and Blue beach near Half Moon Bay, CA
