L = length
G = girth
f = number of whole feet in height you are
i = additional inches of height
Assumming uniform shape of the shaft, here we go:
L x [(2 x pi)x(sqrt<G divided by pi>)]
[(12 x f) + i]
A person of 5ft 8, 6.25 x 5.25 size gets a value 0.746
