Also do you have a gas, electric or other range/stove?
    -------------------------

Mine is only about 55 square feet. In my old apartment it was even a bit smaller. I have electric now and I don't like it. My old kitchen had a gas stove.

I have a big gass stove, with loads of burners, but I have an electric oven, it's the best combination in my opinion.

about 20 x 20. I have a large house. Electric, gas optional, microwave. We tend to buy too much, so we have a 23 cubic foot freezer with two deer in it, and two fridgerators--also full.

Yeah, its like the house has its own heart, sometimes when its cold I lift one of the hotplate covers and let the heat warm my back, its like sunshine.

8.5 x7.5 = 63.75 sq. ft. Gas Miele cooktop and wall oven. It's a very workable galley kitchen.

I have electric and hate it. Moving soon, and my new home WILL have a gas cooktop, and the double ovens will be convect bake.

It's how my moms kitchen is set up...and we LOVE IT!!!
