Nice cock - wanna fuck?

The expression sheeeeeeesh is a bit of a giveaway.

I can't spot gay guys at all - I didn't think of Dave as gay until someone mentioned it - now of course I don't talk to him. In fact I don't normally think of what people's orientation is at all.

Can someone tell me what it says in post 21 as I have the guy on ignore. He is far too straight for me to read what he says.

We should be categorised according to % and segregated so that people like me don't have to read his straight propaganda.

Dearest LordPendragon,

I have not laughed out loud for over a week.

You have just provided me with my first belly laugh in a very long time.

As little nephew used to say "he funny man" :biggrin1:

Ah. Not a problem Dave.

He's announced to the board he's moving to Spain to be near you since you've managed to be the only man to whom he's ever been physically attracted.

I suggest you answer his pms and take him off ignore. He has a big old member in his gallery.

Aah good - I have changed my percentages so I can talk to him again. I will need to ignore you in the meantime though until I decide to change them back.

PS Does this mean I can go to church tomorrow now if I don't change them back until afterwards?

I have changed it back - I would rather stay in bed and have a good shag tomorrow morning. You will need to pass on what Lordp says again though I'm afraid.:biggrin1:

LPD,

I can spot the heterosexual males (you're an interesting exception) in two posts.

They invariably rail at the suggestion that women are coerced into bisexual behavior or that they could possibly have ever had a sexual experience with a male.

Is this a mutually inclusive (other than LordPD) definition?

No argument, just curious...:biggrin1:

really hate the labels, and the silly percentages. as hick says, what difference does it make. labeling is for bible thumping conservatives so they can damn u to hell for being an evil sexual deviant. btw, i am sure they would consider anyone here a homosexual. i mean this is a site dedicated to the penis....

For me being 1% means that I like looking at a big nice hard one. That being said watching a guy masturbate on cam doing tricks with his hard cock is hot!! :werd: I know but that's just me. Also love seeing a big fellow servicing or being serviced by a woman. Gay porn doesn't do anything for me nor does the idea of doing anything with a man. So what percent does that put me at? :dunno: 1% seems about right. Also not homophobic either to each each own.

The great thing (here) is you don't have to have your sexual percentages, gender, location or any other information displayed if you don't want to.

The percentages never have bothered since I realized that the only person who thought about theirs in the same way I think about mine is me.

Everyone brings their own personal context to what their percentages mean. I don't think the percentages are outright bullshit as much as I think they have no universal defintions and that dissonance can create problems for people and how they view others here.

Do people lie about their percentages? Sure. People lie about everything here.

The gender colors annoyed me more, so I changed mine to "no response" so that my posts aren't blue.

Since I'm not 1% gay, I can't speak for those guys, but I've heard some of them say that it represents to them that they are straight but open-minded. That's essentially the reason I put 1% straight in mine. Or it could mean that they are straight but secure enough to acknowledge that an occasional thought about a man being attractive has crossed their mind, even if they have no interest in acting on it. Like Talmidge said, true absolutes may be rarer than all the shades of middle.

In the end, the sexual orientation percentages are totally subjective - they mean whatever their user wants them to mean, and two people may mean different things with the exact same percentage.

Several people made good points about the importance of not judging people based on their percentages/orientation. And as Lex said, the same can be said about gender as well. Our profiles allow us the options of giving (or not) whatever information we feel like sharing about ourselves.

The OP was clearly just asking a question out of curiosity, not trying to cast any aspersions. But I agree that the lesson is that if we allow that 'identity information' to discount what we can learn from a person, it's our loss.

Maybe this question has been posed before, but I was just wondering about the guys on this site who list themselves as being "1% gay."

How can a dude classify himself as 1% gay??
I'm guessing that maybe if he only takes one percent of your cock in his ass, or only sticks one percent of his cock in your ass. Just a guess, though... I'm a 100%er.

Perfectly on target, Matthew, as you always are. I strongly agree with you with this one caveat: It is too bad that our concern with percentages is only with judgment as they could be tools for understanding, also.

Sexuality is very complex. Certainly far, far more than just a simple "straight or gay with no shades of gray." If we hope to understand better some day the wide varieties of orientation, the enormous range of sexual behavior, and the not always predictable sexual identities that grow out of these two things (because as is now well documented they do not have a direct correlation), then we have to encourage an open discussion. I concur with those who hate being labeled but I freely offer a percentage because it invites the conversation about the widely-misunderstood nature of bisexuality.

I also do so because I am struck by how many of the male university students that I have taught over the years felt positively tortured by their perfectly natural mixed sexualities, and deeply fearful of the implications of being even 1% gay. They literally did not know that most men ultimately identify as a 2-6 on the Kinsey scale and very few are either pure 1s or 7s. I think the world would be better if this were not such a secret, and I know of no way to encourage that more than list my orientation and keep encouraging the conversation.
