I've a friend who's a porn producer in Miami and it's a lot of hard work. If you don't know how to even get started, then you're probably just trying to live out the fantasy. I know you said that you're not, but you are.

JMeister, don't let anyone put you off your dream, if you want to go ahead and do it, do! Yours have a small obsticle compared to others. However, if you are just looking for wall to wall sex, I don't think the porn industry would be such a good idea.
Atleast you don't need £250,000,000 ($490,426,127.64 - wild estimate) to start your dream, 16 miles of rails, 25 members of staff, 20 individual items of rolling stock, 3 Train Operating Companies to co-operate with, several hundred feasibility studies, several hundred public enquiries, several hundred draft plans and still at the end of the day, be kicked out of the door, because it would never work! (Or becomes far to expensive).
Yes, my own 12in-to-a-foot scale model railway is what I am talking about. At that scale, it can become quite profitable (as you are moving realisticly looking model humans in all shapes and sizes from one location to another), life like commodities (Shingle and sand for the Enviroment Agency for example) and have life like disasters and crashes that look real.
Now, going into the porn business looks like easy work compared to wanting to start your own railway business.

Looking at JeremyA's post also reminds me. If you are willing to, you could do it yourself
in theory. But, you need a very high end web designer (which I am studyng ATM, although, I wish to make my site first.) to make money as most porno sites now are on the net, some girls that would love to have sex and show off their bodies on camera and have them posted on the internet. (If you pick up a nice girl, may you send one this way if she's interested?
). You also need to consider other media and other ways to make money if you are interested in going into the tens of thousands mark.
You also need some decent equipment and meet the expectations of your market. Its no good having shot after shot after shot doing the same thing to your girlfriend millions of times, as everyone gets bored of that. You may want to liase with your audience to also find what they want, how much they are willing to pay for it and how long they fancy staying members on the site. Do it right and you could make a small fortune.
(I wish I did this for my 3D work years ago, rather than working freelance as I do now).
