Your gut is the first place that you store fat, and it will be the last place that your body will be storing fat as you lose fat by being in a caloric deficit. The only wat to lose fat is to be in a caloric deficit.

This! Best way to shred out is to go kept/minimize carbs and couple it with some cardio work.
That's definitely the fast (and expensive way) to minimise the pad. But it really depends on how much you have. Cryo therapy is beneficial to those who have minor to moderate lips build up.

I'd be interested in doing some cryotherapy for my pubic fat pad, but I'm wary about asking the physician's assistants to basically touch my dick, especially since every MedSpa I've been to has been exclusively staffed by women.

I've lost a measurable amount of length off my erection (about 1/2 an inch) since the start of last year when I took a tumble with my diet and gained about 35 pounds, mostly body fat, so I don't know if cryotherapy can really eliminate half an inch of fat.

I'm curious as to what the theoretical maximum of NBPEL length that I can claw back is. I was at about 18% body fat last year, and I'm about 27% now. So I'm wondering if I can get back to my previous length, or even go all the way to my BPEL length if I get reduce my BF% even more.

I've told this story here before, but.. Several years ago now I fucked my neck up really bad. Had to have multiple surgeries, loss use of my dominant arm for a year from a pinched nerve, had to have vertebrae replaced with donor bone, held together with plates and screws, I'll deal with it the rest of my life

Anyway, to the point ..

I lost a fuck ton of weight during all this. I lost way too much weight actually.. But .. My dick looked huge when I was that skinny. Fucking massive, even when soft. I couldn't stop staring at in the mirror, like I didn't recognize it. And sure enough I lost some visual size when I packed some weight back on

Losing weight definitely 'adds' inches. Look at all the big dick porn stars, they almost always have very low body fat %

Lose weight the right way tho. Slow and steady.. Don't be one of those melted candle looking motherfuckers who goes on a starvation diet and looks sickly and gaunt with no muscle tone after dropping 40lbs+

On that journey now doing weights about three times a week. Only starting to see the effects after it was pretty obvious everywhere else - so yep, your pelvic pad is one of the last places to lose fat, so I imagine one the first places to put it back on.

Personally I've lost 30 pounds over the past 8 months by closely watching my diet (keeping it to ~1500 calories per day) and exercising more. I'm 5'8" and my highest weight was 180. I'm down to 150 now and my fat pad has finally gone down! I was absolutely thrilled about that! And yes, it was the last thing to make a change, that stubborn thing. But it's possible through diet and exercise. There was another thread talking about this same thing, and someone rebutted my comment on exercise as they didn't agree it was a significant factor. I politely disagree, as I do my 1/2 hour powerwalk on the treadmill carrying (2) 5lb weights, approx. 5-6 times a week. I 'burn' 250 calories each time. So that's almost 1500 extra calories burned over a week. That's a half a pound of fat worth (if it all went towards that). I think that's pretty significant in the whole scheme of things.

In november I converted to a mostly zero carb diet. It was partially for health, part experiment, and part an exercise in sustainability. I eat all I want, ignore calories, and quickly shed 10 lbs of fat, I still have a little fat on my lower abdomen and on my pubic pad, it is the last to go.

My diet is almost entirely food I produce myself (eggs, beef, pork, lamb) or get from the Mennonite dairy down the road. I'm spending about $10/week at the grocery store. I cut way back on alcohol, but have kept the coffee. The blackheads I had on my face for 35 years cleared up, my joints feel better, weird spots on my skin that you get with age cleared up. For now I'm sticking with it and will be adding some weight work (bands actually) to try to add weight back on in muscle. Adding significant muscle when over 50 is said to be more difficult, we'll see...

Just 2 weeks after my original post, doing weights three times a week for 45mins - 1 hour (incl warmup) I am in fittest condition I've been in for over 30 years and lost close to 4-5kgs (9-11lbs). @vas I'm nearing 50 myself. Pubic fat is probably 60-70% less but is definitely the last place to go with the final tummy gut fat just above. I'm a lot more buff now than my profile image :)

Just a word on diet, I'm very careful not to make too many changes otherwise you risk cravings later. I find simply cutting your current diet (unless you eat crap) down to reduce calories is the best method. It doesn't impact your life so much, your stomach eventually shrinks and there does come a time when you just don't want to eat too much anymore - the appeal to do a nightime binge or eat chocolates just isn't there. And you have to get away from beer, its a carb super drink...it would be used in marathons if you didn't get drunk. So I'm back to sipping bourbon and cokes like a twenty year old :)

I think I'll have gotten rid of my pubic fat in the next 2 weeks, so will keep you all posted.

Cryolipolysis is one option. So is Kybella, an injectable related to bile that just dissolved subcutaneous fat.

Haha, I was just reading on cryolipolysis, it been becoming very popular! But (like almost everything else!) there is a rare, but seemingly increasing, risk of paradoxical adipose hyperplasia. Instead of the fat going down, it increases. And not just increases, but the shape it takes looks like the machine that was used for the treatment (like an isolated mound of fat). It used to estimated that it occurred in about 1/20000 people, but more recent study have shown it to be more like 1/2000. Too scary for me!

I haven't heard of Kybella but just looked it up. It seems to be more for fat under the chin. I imagine it would work for other places, but it says it's not approved for that. Interesting though!

Update - been 4 weeks and have lost more than 50% of groin fat which has made a noticable difference - particularly as girth increases towards the base.

This reinforces what has been said already, this and tummy fat are the last to go and take a lot of work to get there. I'm to the point now where my wife has warned me people may think I'm sick given how thin my neck etc is, so I think I will hover around this point. I would be 3-4 weeks away from 'porn' thin - with next to no groin fat - but I don't think it's healthy.

It is very difficult. I do a daily rowing and then a uphill tredmill and do swim. Plenty of exercise one would think but maybe we simply have to accept that the rock hard pubic area of a twink is a more soft cushion for a forty-somethinger? Not that my pubic area is "fat" but it is not alike when I was eightteen, that is obvious.
