I've never used a glove to finger a man's ass, a woman's ass, or a woman's vagina how come a lot of lesbians and bisexual women use gloves when they finger another woman's vagina or anus? I can understand why you would need a glove for fisting but why do so many lesbian and bi women use them for just fingering? If I had any cuts or sores or broken skin on my hand I just would not use that finger or hand or do it at all. I would use a glove if I was having sex with someone who had HPV or herpes however. I have never had a man use gloves when he has fingered my ass so why do bisexual and lesbian women do it?

what kinda of porn are you watching, LP46?

i've been sexually active with women for about a decade now, and not once have i been asked to use gloves or thought to use gloves. lube, yep. dildos, fuck yeah. dental dams, rarely. condoms for dildos, easy clean up.

you will get the safe sex nazi, the people who would happily coat the whole world in latex and bubble wrap, but most dykes just go for it. we're more concerned with hang nails than we are with gloves.

stop watching HBO Real Sex specials. that's PC TV sex. cleaned up and sanatized for white, hetero middle america.

dykes are very into sex demos. you will see gloves at a demo. no in the bedroom.

I'm not talking about porn I'm talking about when women have sex with each other and it's a hook up or they are dating or something or they are not in a monogamous relationship. When I was younger and first coming out in the late 80s they said how women should always use dental dams, gloves, and condoms on toys and how men should use condoms when they have anal sex with men.

Where are you getting this information from?:33: :hypnotized: :wtf1:
I have never ,ever used a glove when performing
any type of sexual activities with a women or with a man.
Neither have I used a "dental dam" when rimming.
I do understand that many may be afraid and I think it is
prudent to be safe when having sex with people {men}
you may not know very well and whose histories medical
and otherwise aren't readily available to you. :yup:
I have to agree with ML above and say "nope I haven't been asked to use gloves and shit either" in over two decades of having sex with women.:naughty:
Not even once. :werd:

i only mentioned porn cuz i was thinking maybe you haven't been having much lesbian sex.

in the baby dyke years i got the same speech about condoms, gloves and dams.... but once you start hooking up and fucking around you just notice the whole safer sex thing isn't really happening.

condoms are used, but it's more to protect toys than to protect partners. silicone dicks cost money and silicone lubes will mess your gear up.

i guess lesbians have been lured into a false sense of security with sex. we can't get pregnant *well, this one is pretty spot on, not open to debate..well not without a turkeybaster* we don't get HIV from another woman *some might debate this, but transmission rates among strictly clittly girls is almost non-existent* we completely ignore all the other STI/Ds floating around out there just waiting to make friends.

Here on the west coast my lesbian and bisexual female friends tell me how they use gloves and dams when hooking up with women who they do not know since they want to be safe and these are women who they are not fluid bonded with and they are total strangers and yes women can get HIV and other STDs from having sex with other women. Also HPV and herpes are easily spread unknowingly by women who have sex with women. Yes there are POZ dykes and bisexual women.

The risks of sexually transmitting HIV between women (who only sleep with other women) are very low. Very few women are known to have passed HIV on to other women sexually.

I never used gloves and only sometimes used dams. Condoms for toys/strap-ons yes.

p.s. What does "fluid bonded" mean?

Fluid bonded means that you do unsafe sex with a trusted partner and only them. Fluid Bonding I do not bareback or swallow but many people do.

Then I believe you just answered your own question! If you take the time to use a dam then you may as well use a glove, right?

i have never, ever in 20 years (and many partners) been asked to wear gloves, or have witnessed anyone wearing gloves when having sex with women. if i was asked to, then i would, but it would feel very peculiar indeed.

You...sure you're not looking at pics of women with a rubber fetish? I mean, I've heard of people using a rubber with their toys, but they say that's because that way, when they're done, cleanup's easy. :))
