I agree with you, it's a bit sad to see how young guys finish training and go home without showering in the gym ( hope they do it at home at least ) . Today I was in the gym and a guy my age (26) was doing a towel dance and looking at me, I was naked and you don't know how ridiculous he looked. Earlier this week I once again observed one of the saddest manifestations of this casual nudity hang-up trend:

Picture it: a private, 100% creep-free, high-end facility, early morning with maybe a total of 3 males in the lockerroom (still labeled "Men's" believe it or not).

I was in my own corner getting dressed up for work. The nearest member was alone in his own bay, unable to see me and invisible to me.

I did notice movement in the reflective surface of the locker doors though...what appeared to be a human wearing dark briefs...then I saw the dark briefs getting draped in a white towel...and a tortuous towel dance ensued...then I heard the shower (stalls with doors of course). As I was heading out I passed by this decidedly average-looking man, draped in the white towel, squirming to raise his underwear all the way to the top before releasing the towel.

Seriously, why don't we just end this masquerade and merge the "men's" and "women's" lockerrooms for added comfort and space?

Spain the boys (youth) continue to have a very backward mentality. only those who have a strong personality go to the shower naked. I am convinced that if the changing rooms were mixed, all the young boys would shower. but in the men's locker rooms their retarded brains associate being naked with something sexual, gay... I seriously doubt if they shower after they get home

For me, its the opposite. I have little issue with same sex public nudity (If someone is creeping or staring, I'll cover up), but if females were present I'd carefully think what and how I'd do things.
