How comfortable are men with being nude in communal showers and locker rooms in your country or culture?

It is odd who is shy and who isn't, when It comes to the locker room. I've seen guys in the gym locker room comfortable baring all when they're on the small side, tiny even. And super shy guys with very generous endowments.

I agree. I don't have a great body and am pretty average in the penis department but I don't worry about being seen naked in a locker room or in general.

As we all know and have discussed, most guys who played sports, were in the military, had brothers as close siblings or dads who weren't overly modest don't seem to have problems with nudity but that still leaves a lot of guys who do.

I've posted how I really don't use the locker room at my gym because it's not far from my house and just easier, but really it's just a pretty plan room with shower stalls/curtains. Guys don't get naked unless it's for ten seconds to put on or take off their underwear, then they immediately cover up again in some capacity. It's probably used by less than 20% of those who actually work out there.

The gym clientele where I work out splits pretty evenly into go home sweaties and shower users. Since the showers are open, the latter group (including me) are almost uniformly relaxed about getting their kit off. I wouldn't like to bet how many of the sweaties are doing it because they're uncomfortable about getting naked and how many just think they might as well go home for convenience/because it's close by/because it saves them packing a big kit bag, though.

Having a pretty face and good body is a bless, but being humble and modest also, will make a person more attractive and loveable, especially in young men. Sexy guys with arrogant attitude thinking that they are so gorgeous, and other people out there just trying to chase after them, will definitely turn people off. Those 3 guys are loveable because they are young, good looking but may not even think of that, and don't mind other people looking at their bodies. They may think that being naked is natural, and nothing's wrong with being nude in the men's locker room; and if other men enjoy looking at their bodies, then they have made someone happy that day, and just looking is not a big deal between men. But we should be courteous in men's locker room by not staring at people for a long time; or be disgusted by walking around all wet dripping water all over the floor and making a mess. Try to clean up yourself. Being naked is natural, but making a mess is different.

I’m comfortable with it, but I was in the military. Between boot camp and deployments, nudity isn’t really the taboo it was when I was a civilian.

Here in Italy I'd say guys are rather comfortable with nudity, especially when it comes to showering after team sports.
I used to play 5-a-side football and in most of the cases, being a small number of total players, there was just one locker room with open showers for both teams... meaning that after every game you were going to shower together with your teammates and other 6/7 unknown guys.

Showering at home was not an option, as we were always staying out for dinner or for a drink after the match...
And, in general, I'd say it's considered quite strange to go home without showering after sports.

In gyms it is more likely to have separators, but still many guys seem to be quite comfortable to walk around naked, drying out and changing clothes without hiding themselves.

During boot camp I was showering & heard someone walk up right behind me. I said "cant I get 5 minutes of privacy". All the sudden I heard shouting & my last name horribly mispronounced, as only our drill sergeant refered to me as. I turned around immediately, but slipped on my shower shoes, fell & was at the drill sergeant's crotch-level.

I’ve been hitting a traditional Russian banya which is visited almost entirely by Russian immigrants or their sons born here.
I’d say 99% of men of all ages are naked, you see the usual one or two in bathing suit but for the shower time (just four with no divisions on a small room) everything is taken off. Idk if is same in Russia but at least in this one they are pretty open about it.
