For Starbucks to do this after not sticking up for their bullied and pushed out staff is so disgusting.

Anyhoo, Cherry has been my nickname since my teenage years. Kinda like a twist on the Lolita. And it stuck!

It took a lot of “trial runs” but I just chose my favorite bird.

My current name is Hebrew for "pleasantness," which I thought was a good foil to my deadname, which meant "strength" in Hebrew. Also found out from a cousin that I have a family member with the same name, too, which was a nice surprise.

When I was young pre transition i dove into Drag, and having been a massive Barbie Stan, i decided i wanted to be Barbie's Trailer trash Cousin, named Bambie.

When I realized it was a lot deeper than drag (I always new) i realized i couldnt be a full grown woman named bambie. SO i called up my mother and asked her what she was going to name me, She stated is was Savannah and i new at that moment that was the name I was supposed to have.

So my mother named me.
