How did you find LPSG.org?

Dag: I was wondering how we all found ourselves here.
A Large Penis Support Group is not so common.
Atleast I don't think it is.

rainfletcher: I read an article on Slate which sarcastically mentioned this site. Their general gist was that if ever there was a group that did NOT need support, it was men with large dicks. In their view, it just another sign that the Internet has become truly mindless...

Obviously, when I read the article, I had to check it out. What I wouldn't have given to have found this board much, much earlier.

SchroederJr: Well, it seems like my reason should be up there. I was about 15 and a friend had implied that I was larger than average, so I was looking to find out if what he said he was true and stumbled upon this lovely site. But that was waaay back two versions of the board ago... I've been around here for a while.

Gosh, it seems like it was back in the Stone Age now, but a few years ago I was surfing the net looking for men's sexual health advice boards when I found LPSG.

I haven't bothered to look for other boards since.  LPSG has not only filled the bill, it's done it with aplomb and dignity, thanks to my fellow posters and their attitudes, and to our female guests whose unique perspectives keep us well informed.

Where else in the world could you daily gather men who comprise less than 1% of the population because of genital size?  

I have to tip my cap to Mark and Mindseye for making LPSG such an easy place to navigate and to their willingness to constantly improve the board for us.  It's got to be very time consuming and somewhat frustrating to maintain LPSG so well.

I actually found the board pretty innocently -- I was looking up details on an old record that I was thinking of bidding on at eBay, and came across a website that mentioned a bunch of 70's musicians. David Cassidy was one of them, and the author of the website hinted that he was 'big' by linking to a previous incarnation of LPSG.

Donk: Well, I'm also one of the "stone agers." I discovered the original LPSG several years ago through another forum called "The Large Penis Forum". (I think that forum is long gone. It was going downhill at the time--basically just a spam site--and was always a cheesy affair associated with a really tacky porn site.) I probably originally discovered that other forum by a Google search looking for an outlet to have the type of discussion we now have here with other guys who share the ups and downs of being endowed larger than average.

P.S. to mindseye--We also have another interest in common. I collect records too! (In my case, mostly cheap records to listen to rather than pricey collectibles from e-bay.) You learn something new every day . . .

I am another Stone Ager. I was on my computer (the first one I blew up) in my dorm and a friend said, "There's a site you should check out. It's called the Large Penis Support Group. We all know you'd qualify!" I just said, "Yeah ... right," figuring he was just ribbing me about my endowment as usual. After he left my room I thought, "Hmmm ... could he be serious? A support group?" I did a search, and voilà! That was the old, original LPSG started by Ralf, SlickRick and Mark as a joke. I was among those who noticed the site's potential as a serious forum. Its purpose gradually shifted and Jimbo joined the moderation staff. For the newer members: trust me, dudes ... this site is a whole different world! It has changed for the better!

Stone-ager here too, of almost exactly the same vintage as Donk. I found the old "Large penis forum" mentioned in some web discussion ... looked it up, and was hooked. The very first time I had a chance to discuss these matters with men who know what it is like.

Just one disagreement with Donk ... in my view that site didn't start cheesy, it began very well, although on a much smaller scale than lpsg.org. But it certainly went downhill, more or less at the same time that the first joke lpsg was "colonised" by a number of well endowed guys.

Donk: Max, I agree that the discussion on the old Large Penis Forum started off pretty good at first. My "cheesy" comment was directed more at the host site, a place called "Sex Boards", or something like that, which featured some especially vile banner ads (think women, vegetables, and animals!). The discussion started to get good and many of us posters ultimately gravitated to the old LPSG.

H8Monga: I found it I believe in late 2000, took a peek in and left. Back then my home was the sexuality forum at Saramnet.com and I was probably looking up information on the penis (believe it or not I helped people with their size insecurities, my friend Seanboy being one of them and I met him at S-net). If I can recall, I looked around and I think I saw a guy who had been a regular at S-net, Raul, posting a link to his site where he showed off his bend (he was insecure about it)... I was like.. damn, he's everywhere... I think that was one of the LPSG's. Can anyone confirm that?

The second time, I was invited just to look at a post. I got caught in the current...

--I've seen this forum endure many changes....all very
much for the better! Looking back, I would NOT have wanted to miss it. Glad to see so many familiar names still with us--many of whom I have become quite fond of just as if we are indeed close friends! I've learned so much, too.

When I found the LPSG, I was searching the web--learning all about the miracle of cyberspace.

'Was (or course!) doing references on "the penis" and "penis enlargement".

Interestingly, I was a (SILENT !) "lurker" my first two years or so.

Now, --after over 300 posts ! ----some may be wishing for my "former" self to kindly return!

This is due to the fact I learned about LPSG from Maxim Magazine WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY back when they put it in there little list of crazy and/or fun places on the net.... So I have been around for Many of the years..... I think I may have caught it in its first or second incarnation (out of TOO MANY)..... but I was just a lurker until about 1 to 1.5 years ago.....

I've grown so close to and fond of this place that every time it comes across problems I worry so much I almost get a grey hair or two..... And I'm 17!!!!! (but I am not overstating too much, I have had a grey hair already.... Long story short...I'm a stress-case)

Every time I come here I feel thankful for Maxim even more..... even if they were trying to make fun of this site...... :-/

I, you could just about say, am one of the ORIGINAL lurkers......  Like a group Stone-Ager without being fully so.....  

Looking back I kind of feel like a pre-historic wolf, always watching the camps of the cave-men and grabbing as many left-overs as I could  .

I just feel the need to express big, HUGE thanks to all those who have ever been involved in making the LPSG and keeping it going......  But I think that could get me arrested - people don't like stalkers and all...
