I printed a train ticket, folded it, and stuck it in my passport this morning. My dog followed me around and watched me do all that, then proceeded to glue herself to my side and follow me every step until I left the house to come to work. She followed me to the door and watched me walk out. She almost never does that. Now, I haven't even started to pack yet and the flight is 6PM tomorrow, but she's acting like she knows something is up. It's interesting how animals can read cues when we are not even aware that we're sending them.

Dogs are smarter than a lot of people. Mine amazes me sometimes as if she can read my mind. I just wish I could read hers.

When was a kid, every year we took care of my aunt and uncle's Schnauzer went they went on vacation to Florida. We lived in Wisconsin and each year when they would be on the way back and somewhere near Indianapolis, the dog would start waiting at the bottom of the driveway staring up the road in the direction they would be coming from.

Gotta say though, the dog had poor taste in people. Our relatives on that side sucked.

Mine always knows when we are leaving. And he knows that something is different now and that he is not allowed on my lap. I can tell he wants to jump up and I just hope it is not too much longer before he can.

Most likely it's the passport. It has different scents on it. She probably thought you were leaving right then and there.

I could have toilet trained my dog. She knew where it was and pooped in front of it.

Our cats also know something's up before we even pack. Makes me wonder what exactly it is that they're picking up on.

Our four legged friends, most animals have keener senses than we do. It's how they survive. Modern man loses that, unless we is trained to regain them again. My little 14 and a half year old moggy follows me everywhere.

When my passport come out my dog knows something is up. She can also smell boarding passes from a mile away I think. Have a safe trip!

It is amazing. They can sense so much that we don't realize. The look you get when the suitcase comes out. Eyes and ears drooping.

Just an image, Hick's dog telling him to fuck off.:fuckyou2:

She's a Boston Terrier. Not quite as jacked up as that, but close.
