A clothing designer friend in Paris explained to me that the direction zippers and buttons are arranged on men's trousers(facing right) is part of a universal agreement among international clothing designers. Because of this face right agreement, more fabric is allocated to the left pant leg to contain the cock and balls. It is called the "cut" of the right and left upper trouser legs, respectively! Placing everything you have in the "fuller" left trouser leg is called "dressing" left! "Dressing" right for a well hung guy is often strangling and uncomfortable, to say the least!
I did not know that.
