How do men feel about sex toys?

would you say you've found a solution that controls your condition but still allows you ''normal'' sexuality now?

oh, it is endearing. for reals. for you, i answer. see, i wouldn't answer just anyone! (about this matter anyway.)

i do not take medication anymore. i just let the tics come. after 40 years on this planet, i have learned to control them or mask them and most people wouldn't know i have tourette syndrome. the media makes it out to be like everyone with TS has coprolalia (cursing) and tics 24/7 which is simply not the case. i do have vocal tics though (shoulder shrugging and yelping/shouting something that sounds a little like "HAHHHHHH!!" is my most aggressive tic, i suppose), and even though i tic daily i mostly manage to save it all up for when i am by myself.

my comorbid OCD is occasionally problematic though. i was on anafranil for a looooong time for that. eventually, all those meds make you feel dead inside so i am happy to be off. i don't care about the consequences. let those jerks laugh and point when they catch me rocking back and forth in the car.

i wish i had that bumper sticker still. on my old car i had one that said HAVING TOURETTE'S REALLY TICS ME OFF.

yeah, i guess the media would pick the most extreme cases. there's no proper drama in what you describe.
it's like when i say i have mild aspergers and people expect rainman.

Enid, I have another friend with TS and he doesn't have coprolalia either, just ticks. You sound like you aren't letting it affect your life, which is wonderful! My friend isolated himself more and more and he goes out into public less and less the worse his symptoms got over the years. He's just so self-conscious. It makes me sad. He's a beautiful person and one of the people I feel improves my life by his presence.

i just haveta vent about my biggest obsession. i have a counting thing, and lately i have to fight not to get too hooked up on counting the words people say and for every word drawing one line of a star. a star takes 5 lines, i like the number 5, and i want to hear people say things that end on an even number of stars. no half star convos. haha. it kinda drives me batty.

i also am compelled to read backwards, that can be maddening when you're driving and trying to read every billboard backwards.

I have no problem with sex toys, I do have my own.. for my own reasons, so I shouldn't be against women having them. I mean yes I would have a problem if my partner had something that was bigger then my arm and the width of my thigh and had no problem taking it all.. But even if it is bigger then me.. say and inch or so.. I have no problem.
