    Guys,

After showering tonight I wonder, how do others wash. Strange maybe. But do you use the bar of soap to wash with, a wash cloth? or something else? If so what?

I personally use the bar of soap, makes me feel more manly LOL.

I use a fluffy foofy thing and creamy body wash from Bath and Body Works.

    Current flavor is Mango Mandarin.

I lick myself all over the way a cat does. Unless I'm seeing someone. Then she can do it.

Bar soap leaves soap scum on the shower doors and tile, whereas I use the Old Spice body wash, or Axe, or Dial, that contain a riseing agent that keeps the shower cleaner, or so I'm told (my lady friend and I are particular about a clean house and clean trucks). I usually don't use a washcloth and sure as hell don't use the fluffy thing my lady friend uses, if ya'll care she has some nice smelling stuff she gets from some store at the mall. Bar soap also makes my skin too dry.

Get a loofa, its like an underwater sponge that grows and its the only way to get 100% clean. It scrapes the dead skin off of your body, which is difficult to do entirely with just a wash cloth let alone only a bar of soap. The next best thing would be the fluffy body wash things Chrys spoke of.

I usually use some of this cleanser. My best friend's mother sells it, and I use most of what she sells. In the shower, I give myself a good scrubbing from throat to toes. I rinse, wrap in a towel, and air-dry at the sink while I was my face, brush my teeth, floss, rinse with peroxide and moisturize my face. Then I moisturize my entire body, which feels pretty good to do. Whole process takes 5-20 minutes. Half an hour if I need to wash my hair.

I'm with Chrys here! I use a fluff puff with body wash. Lavendar for relaxation please!

I also use a foot scrub (it looks like a potato brush) and an emery board for my feet. You gotta do it everyday or your feet look like hobbitseseses!

I do a quick streak through the local carwash - reaches places soap and face cloths don't.

Actually loofa (more correctly, Luffa) is not a sea sponge. It is a plant, a squash, actually. Luffa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia .

It IS wonderfull for exfoliating away old skin cells. I reccomend that everyone try it at least once!

Yes, I also recommend a loofa...(loofa is the anglified version of the genus luffa so both spellings are acceptable). I use a loofa with 'original' bath gel....lime guarana is my fave...zings you up in the morn....

(joyboytoy, feel free to pick me out on any future spelling mistakes *cheeky grin*)

yep I use a fluffy foofy thing too.... they're ace because you need so much less shower gel with those because it froths up so much.

I use a shower gel for sensitive skin.. found a lovely coconut one

I have always used soap. It gets rubbed on my arms and chest, and then worked into a lather with my hands. Once the soap has been spread, I wash it off.

THEN, I use a bodywash to clean up again, after I have lathered my hair with a shampoo.

I use soap to wash myself. Unless I have company. Then I let my company wash me with soap.

I use a washcloth which I rub with a very mild soap. I also at time use a loofah for the backs of my arms etc to make sure the skin is exfoliated. I then use a lotion with a scent that matches my soap ....Green tea. or white tea.

I wash in the same manner as Faye Dunaway (as Joan Crawford) does in the beginning of the movie "Mommie Dearest."

No really, I wash from head to toe with a big washcloth lathered in soap. I used to use a body poof and liquid body wash, but went back to using a washcloth a few years ago.

This is something which has always perplexed me! How do people not wash their hair everday? I wash my hair everyday with shampoo and conditioner. Yet, some people think I'm strange or odd for doing so!

Thanks, mercurialbliss! I thought I would be the only one here that uses Dove and other 'regular' soaps. Honestly, I've never used anything but Dove, Oil of Olay or Caress most my life. I did use Aveeno and Neutrogena soaps for a while, but those became a little too expensive for me to use when I quit working to go to school. I also stopped using Aveeno 'cause I didn't want to go around smelling like an "old bowl of porridge!":biggrin1:

    BTW, I am SO gay!

Ivory soap and hot water. Cheap shampoo. Keep a bar of Lava handy in case I'm really dirty.
