hmm.. brave, this may have to do with psi.. one pound over many square inches offers an even pressure activating many nerves, but reduce the area and the same pound feels much more targeted. One pound, one square inch, one psi. One pound on a needle, ~1/10,000 square inch, 10,000 psi.. logicly a small dick may pass over the pleasure pain threshold. Too much poundage at a high psi may be painful.. Although most women do enjoy a good pounding... ;)

I am a solid 7+ but most guess 8+ .. I just do my best to make it feel that way...

LOL You are talking Physics here.

A cock is a simplified model consisting of a reservoir connected to an incoming tube, which supplies fluid, and an outgoing tube, which drains the fluid away. Your body adjusts the amount of fluid in the reservoir by regulating the relative flow, in through the source and out through the drain. It's similar to the way you can control the amount of water in your kitchen basin by turning the faucet handle.

There's nothing inherently difficult about accurately estimating penis size, but men and women both have a vested interest in inflating the numbers. Why else would so many men post pics of their penis in relation to some object rather than against a ruler? No reason to ruin the myth.

Keep in mind some well-known measurements and then visually imagine how the penis in question stacks up:

1) A CD or DVD is 4.7" in diameter

2) A Bic pen is 5.5" long

3) A woman's size 6 shoe is 9" long

4) A sheet of notebook paper (and most standard magazines) is 11" long

Have you ever seen a penis which looks as though it would stretch the length of the latest copy of The Economist?

I'll start off by saying im 20 years old and until recently was a very inexperienced virgin. I watched porn and all that but never really thought myself to be 'enormous'. I've measured myself and im about 7" long and 6" around. Now I don't think im larger then average and im not on an ego trip here, especially compared to some of the cocks on this site.

Well, about a week ago me and this girl I've been seeing for about 6 months finally decided to have sex for the first time. She was not a virgin, and said she'd seen about 5 penises in her life.

When it came time for me to take off my pants, her eyes got huge and she told me my cock must be about 9 or 10 inches long. I naturally didnt correct her, as it aroused me that she thought that.

Now here is what im wondering. Since women don't regularly measure penises like men seem to do, does a slightly larger then average penis get enlarged by women like that all the time? I can imagine her talking to her friends and telling them all its 10" long, when I know its only 7.

My real question is, does this happen a lot? When you initially see a larger then average penis do you think its larger then it actually is when you take a measuring tape to it? Do you ever tell a man his dick must be 12" when its only 8? Or is this just the case of shock of an unexperienced girl?

Well if a guys dick looks big his dick is just BIG and I dont really bother to guess what size he is. If he tells me the size then I would just say OK, its not important what size he is if I think he´s big. I mean he´s dick wont get bigger just because he gives me a BIG number to go with aswell :rolleyes:

Let me bust out the math for you to illustrate a point. If a girl has been with only 5 guys, her perception of what the average penis size is likely way off. Even if she's seen other penises in porn or whatever, she'd be likely to place more value on the one's she's seen up close and personal. Now for the stats... If she's been with only 5 guys, the chances that all 5 of those guys are below average (thus making you seem huge), are about 3.1%. Not something you'd bet on, but certainly within the realm of possibility. There's also a 39.4% chance that she's never had a guy one might classify as large (for simplicity, lets say more than a standard deviation above average). You could make the exact same argument for a woman who has only seen large guys.

Of course, this all assumes that a man's penis size is totally random, and independant of anything a woman might use to select a man, which I believe to be untrue. I've got no concrete evidence, but I suspect that a man's penis size is on average at least somewhat correlated to his height and/or body size. And since women often have preferences for height in guys, my statistical argument should actually have a little bit more pronounced results.

She was obviously trying to boost your ego. That's all. Girls know the different between big and average.

Not necesarily.

Unless she's done a lot of reading on the subject and happens to measure her partners a woman will likely base her belief on what average size is from her own experiences. My first four bfs were all above average, though as far as I knew that was the standard range. My first time with what I know now to be within the average range I thought it was small because compared to the others it was smaller.

May I amend this to read, "size matters less to me than..."? I DO love ice cream, but I don't eat IT all the time, either. lol

[By the way, Luvembig is a long-time member and male. My honey'll swear I'M female...:biggrin1:]
