How do you cope?

There's no need to go around assuming all men are "monsters" who will harm you on sight just because we've been given a peek into what they think. So what? The vast majority won't harm anyone. I have several brothers and can attest to this, and it doesn't exactly sit well with me that there are women out there who may view them as "a threat" just because they're male. They don't bother anyone and mind their own business. I'm just saying, be reasonable.

Well, I don't assume "all men" are a threat. However, I do assume that any person (whether I know them personally or not) is a *potential* threat. That could mean they themselves are predatory or that they could be unwilling to confront a bad fucker when they are being shit.

I know that most people aren't an immediate threat or intend to cause harm to me but I do keep all my wits about me at all times (especially because I partake in activities that include my rompings on this website). I don't assume everyone is a threat, but enough people are that I don't expect to never find myself in some kind of trouble.

I was naive to just how immature guys are before joining - and especially the hatred towards women so many guys have. And that's despite me having been living life to the fullest over the years and experiencing my share of men and life.

I have been a member of a number of sites and I can honestly say that this has been the one where I've experienced the least objectification, probably due to the fact that the majority of members are gay.
The main issues I've experienced are incredible size delusion (some of the size claims on here are beyond ludicrous, even in the face of obvious evidence to the contrary) and I've noticed an underlying attitude amongst some gay men (not all I hasten to add) that women don't really count when it comes to size appreciation and that gay guys are the only ones who have any entitlement and/or expertise in this area.
Other than that it has been the site with the least harassment, bullying etc., and therefore for me it is very easy to 'cope'.

Most of the ladies responding to this thread joined a much different LPSG.

Back when I joined anyone with a female gender checked was flooded with DMs of dicks pics and cam invites. Rejection was not handled well by 2008-2012 men. LPSG Hold Out Womangs made a Bingo chart of rando butt hurt. Everything from bring chastised for being on LPSG if we didn't want to see their dick to suddenly going from goddess to old/frigid/ugly hags to being accused of having our own dicks.

Our new fearless leader, said affectionately, has done tons to make women feel welcome here. He listens when we voice discontent and does what he can.

Boss Man made unsolicited dick pics and tributes a T&R no-no. He crewed more women up as Mods. And our current Mid Squad are dope folk and recognize real issues and handle said issues with respect.

Boss Man also cleared up the straight porn section...unlovingly referred to as The Basement." Under pervious management the most misogynistic violent porn was allowed, not just hardcore, we're talking should be a criminal act in a better world.

If you find no need to 'cope' it's only because decades of women fighting the good fight and down with bros speaking up.

There is also the matter of visible footprint. Most women still active on the boards have thousands of posts. We also are not shy about our opinions, visibility and contrary voices make you a target. Each of us have been singled out by one troll with the intention of running off their special lady friend.

I bitch about 2008-2012, but dam some awesome folks made LPSG their home. I miss the good old bad old days.
