How do you feel about blank profiles that engage in conversations with you?

For some reasons I’ve been getting a lot of messages on private form guys who don’t even have a profile pic. How do you feel about it?
It upsets me that people want to engage in futile conversations and they don’t even have the courtesy of sending you a pic about themselves. Like “Dude, you wrote me based on what you see on my profile, then why the hell you don’t extend the same courtesy towards me?”
The most annoying part is that when I call them out or tell them sorry, I’m not interested in conversations with empty profiles” they feel offended.
How do you guys manage it and how do you feel about it?

Doesn't bother me at all. Sharing photos was my own choice, and it's always been at the edge of my comfort zone - so I understand if others don't feel up to doing the same.

But also, to me chats are about far more than just pics. If someone makes the effort to engage in conversation, it's at least worth my time to answer - and in the end, some of my best chats have happened without sharing any pics.

I moved my nudes to a folder that has privacy set to verified members only. The message requests drastically dropped after that.

I don't answer any private messages. Nor do I have photos of my partner posted. My message box would be swamped.

Obviously you're getting attention+++ because you're an attractive available man Adonis. I suggest stating "I won't accept DMs from anyone without a profile pic" in your signature and the "About" section of your profile page. If they still PM you, state your case, then click Leave Conversation & Ignore future messages - thus avoiding any further interaction entirely. I personally don't mind receiving PMs from any person, pics or none. as the vast majority of persons are friendly & polite. If not they are put on Ignore.

I don't get a lot. But I will respond if there's been some previous comment interaction from the public threads. I sometimes just ignore. Depends on the message to be honest.

Its all a matter of personal preferences. A bit lke anything else. I go through a phase..sometimes I include pics, sometimes I do not. But I always am open to share directly when the vibe is right. My biggest concern is really the very lapse data protection and privacy facilities, especially from non-EU based countries. Storage of images and messages is rampant (from site owners, ISP's and other agencies that traffic gets routed through), and all of these (unless you are vigilant) contain embedded persobal data from your personal devices.

D'oh went on a rant. Personal choice really, apply your street smarts. ;-)
