I don't smoke but can and will tolerate friends who smoke. However, it can be one of not-so-many deal breaker when it comes to choosing a partner. If I really like her I might try to persuade her to give up smoking, partly because I find it intolerable to be with someone who will regularly smoke in my presence and partly because it's genuinely bad for her.

Never smoked apart from the early Teen experimentation biz
Glad i hated it and i think that helped me avoid getting into dope smoking
tried the bong show, but that was such a rigmarole/performance, everyone making the whole scene AS important as the buzz' .. quickly opted out on that as well
I sort of respect?/tolerate (maybe incorrect word) a persons right? to smoke
BUT
as is being proven WW its just not the thing to be into/doing these days
I am still surprised at how many folk, especially youngsters just have to smoke
Our damn Adultish Fault

I don't mind being around smokers. Living where I do, I wouldn't have many friends if I did! I will not kiss a smoker though.

What is attractive in being intimate with someone who smells like an ashtray, even if they launder and dry clean frequently there is still that smell. The smoker is a real pain if a messy smoker, flicking ash everywhere, not extinguishing a cigarette properly. And worst of all that slightly cadaverous colour and fragrance (for want of a better word) of the sophisticated smoker. Guys who smoke often don't even know how to hold a fag, appearing like some animate street whore. Women? Just watch them as they screw their faces up on each puff. PIcking your nose has about the same appeal, but I guess if you are addicted and don't have the will power that is another matter entirely.

I couldn't answer the question because my answer isn't there.

I think smoking is sexy but I don't want to date a smoker because of all the health issues. eCigarettes are acceptable to me, though.

And another thing (!!); what about those smokers who flick their used butts on the ground? Sheez!

Smoking is bad enough...but an irresponsible smoker is bs
I still smoke, quitting after this current pack is smoked up...for realz...but I do pick up after myself...creating butt gardens is not attractive....

I like the taste of tobacco, so, I have been a pipe smoker.

But, when I quit, the feeling of missing something lasts a long time. (I have quit a few times in my life. And i am not smoking now.) Yes. I still miss it.

Smoking is like sex: you can live without it but somehow life goes easier with it.

I started with 16 and quit three month ago - for the 5th time, or something like that. I had years in my early twenties, when i smoked 40 to 60 cigarettes a day. Before I quit this march I smoked about 20 a day.

I feel great in the moment, and I have no desire to smoke, but I felt this way before, and a few weeks later my 20-Cigs-a-day-routine was back again. So this week my feeling about smoking is: "Never again!" Next week it will be perhaps: "Where are my cigs?" But, of course, I hope these days are gone forever...
