SO far the major consensus is that, while it may be a bit of a shock, most of us are by and large ok with avatar changes, but get pissy and/or sad if someone removes a fav of ours.

Maybe i will satrt an album of my avatars, lol that way a person at least wont have to never see a fav again

I decided to change my avatar - I know I said I wasn't planning to because I thought Steve Smith suited me perfectly (and I still think that) but I LOVE Daria and getting the DVD boxset yesterday made me think "Heeeey...."

I don't know if there have been Daria avatars here before.....

I've always loved her nihilistic attitude and outlook to life and other people, her subversiveness - I guess I can relate to her alienation and outsiderness (yeah, I know she's just a cartoon character.....)

I don't really care. I have not changed mine, and I probably won't change it...for "Killroy" has a special meaning for me.

Actually, I enjoy seeing avatars change. It's fun seeing some of
the things members can come up with, especially the animated ones...

I wish I could animate Killroy...
Years ago I saw a cartoon where a busty lady walked past a Killroy drawing on a brick wall.....and after she passed...Killroy's nose was erect.....

I may have to change mine now, just to rock the boat. :p

I don't mind, I don't really think about it. I would probably change mine more if I actually got around to looking for new avatars. I only ever look for an avatar (Or make one) when I join a new forum.

May be confusing to some if they only search people by their avatar and not their user name. I had boobs with cleavage before and didn't know they bounced (.gif didn't work on cell). Major damn freaks would PM me. It quit, once I changed it. LOL

Never thought much about it. Doesnt really matter to me.
Probably the most healthy approach:wink:

If you did it would take me a while to match up the new avatar with you, lol! It would be like luka not bieng a panda!
It's occasionally confusing.
So true. Esp if you are scrolling in a hurry! I notice the avatrs more then the names when scrolling...

I changed my avatar and my name and signature line...trifecta of confusion.
You are my hero...:notworthy:

Also you used the word trifecta, which is cool!:biggrin1:

I tend to change my sig in conjuntion withthe avatar. For example my last was of Desire, and so I had a Desire quote (though no the one that went with the actualk pic. That would be weird...)
