How do you know you're bisexual?

Hello,

Rather confused here. I've always been attracted to women and have only been with women. But I do enjoy watching other guys jack off online, I enjoy having guys watch me jack off online, and get genuinely turned on by larger penises. Does this make me bisexual? I can't personally see myself with a male / having romantic feelings for one, but I'm not sure if that's society talking.

Thank you for your help!

Sounds like you're a human being. I think that's the only label you should be bothered about. The spectrum of sexuality is so diverse it's barely worth trying to establish where you are positioned on it. Just enjoy what you do and don't think too much about it.

I keep seeing posts like this, especially about the difference between physical and romantic attraction. If you're interested in how this stuff works, I started a thread to talk about some research on the topic: Sexual landscapes by james weinrich | LPSG

I really have to echo the above. I am married (second time) with 6 children but, I also love being fucked and absolutely adore sucking cock. Do I get turned on by men? Not really, but then a lot of women don't really turn my head either. Labels are gross generalizations, you are what you are, a person.

Wow, what a lot of anti-label responses!

FWIW, if a label's no use to you, then great, carry on. But me personally? I identify as bisexual, and owning a label is important to me. It gives me a community to belong to which being "a person" just doesn't.

To answer the OP, for me it was pretty uncomplicated: I got turned on by, developed crushes on, and generally could see myself spending my life with people of more than one gender. After spending a couple of years second-guessing myself on account of having internalised the whole "bi now, gay later" trope, I decided to just accept that no, I actually am bi.

Regrets that LPSG only gives % as "straight" or "gay". 55 shades of grey in between. It's like how much ocean is between Arctica and Anarctica ?
We all got our own tachometer, some of us redline (me) regardless of whom/what/where/why/how. How bout 100% flexible ? Life ebbs and flows. Labels suck,
but at least give us 'bi' as an option. we can index it ourselves. When you're in the sheets what matters is who washed. Hopefully together in the shower M, F or MF.

I agree with not putting a label on yourself as so many have said. You may want to look at this as less a matter of A B or C and more like a spectrum range. I identify as straight, but put 1% as I do enjoy looking at nice cocks. Men in general (faces, body) not at all...I don't feel attraction to men at all. So I put myself on a lower end end of my spectrum. Some guys enjoy sucking/or more with a man but don't feel any emotional/relationship/romantic connection...middle of spectrum.... You see where I am leading. Simply enjoy what you enjoy, don't hurt yourself or hurt others. Today you may like seeing cocks, or even gay porn.. next week....maybe not so much. Life is like the ocean that is comes in waves. Just ride the waves.

To respond to the original poster's question. I am bisexual because I'm attracted to some women and some men equally, not all people. My attraction is not just to their particular body parts, like breasts, vaginas, dicks, or chests. I'm attracted to the whole person and I like to be in relationships with them. For me there's no difference being intimate sexually and emotionally with either gender. It's all about what I like or love about them. This should be equally felt by my friend/partner.

I know that I am bisexual to the extent that I am not 100% hetero or gay. But beyond that I still avoid the labels. In the link EagleCowboy provides, above, I am what she would call a "hedonistic bisexual" and that's as good a description for me as any. But I still list my orientation here as "unsure", not for any uncertainty of my own sexuality but because I have absolutely no idea what those percentage options mean to any particular individual who views them. I guarantee that there is a wide variation in the perception of individuals across the spectrum of LPSG members.

I can appreciate both sexes. I veer more towards women because of the fact I see myself settling down, and eventually spending the rest of my life with one. Starting a family, etc. Of course, I'd be completely transparent with anyone I date from here on out. Cause at my age? I'm not dating just for the sake of dating. That's not to say I'm looking for "the one" every time I date. With men? It's more physical, than emotional. Don't envision myself ever dating men, but that's not set in stone. Times change, people change and under the right circumstances/situation anything can happen. I tend to leave things open in that sense. I'm attracted to both sexes, it is what it is. :D

Well, big hard ducks make my duck hard and get me thinking about jerking/sucking them to completion. I've never done it so I suppose I am only bi sexual curious. I love women and their bodies but I just have this urge......
Try it you may like it, or in my case LOVE IT!!! Bill
