You ask him straightforwardly and hope for a like response. There's no need for games. When the 'games' comes into the picture, that's where the confusion comes in.

I don't understand what the difficulty is in telling someone that you like them or vice versa.

I've found these things have a natural build.... do you both :
*go out of your way to talk to/see one another
*have things in common
*find reasons to get together and go out

When your together, if things are going well and the chemistry is there, you both like the way the other looks and smells, you'll both smile and laugh alot, maybe you'll see the twinkle in the others eyes... get goosebumps when you touch...if you invite one another to your pad for a "nightcap" and you sit close to one another and get more of the above feelings.. color me a romantic, but.. this is the types of things that I feel when I'm "into" someone and they're "into" me.... and the litmus test.... if he brings you coffee in bed in the morning, or cooks you breakfast, he's DEFINITELY into you...LOL ! Sometimes you ask yourself a similar question if some peeps out here are honest enough to say, as I am, if after a few years, if he is STILL as into you as you are into him. Some guys are just dolts when it comes to expressing themselves emotionally too.
