There are eggs in cartons that read "Fertile" Eggs along with all the other eggs in the grocery store. Doesn't that make them embryos?

Nope. Embryos do not start to form until heat (99.5*) has been consistently applied.

What is the trick to boiling eggs that when done can be unpeeled easily? It is the only reason why I don't prefer to make hard boiled eggs. Too hard to peel off the shell.

The key is to plunge the boiled eggs while still completely hot into very cold and even icy water.
You can leave them in the cold water for a few seconds and then plunge them back in the hot water again if you like ... and then back into the cold water.
This is supposed to separate the shell from the albumen, the thin film that coats the egg.
Before you peel the egg, you can bang it lightly in numerous places against a hard surface. This provides small cracks that make the peeling even easier.
Sometimes works for me.

I've tried the ice bath method but still get eggs that are hard to peel. I've tried salting the boiling water with limited success but it seems like old eggs are the easiest to peel, but who buys old eggs?

Did you plunge the eggs back into boiling water, and then again into the ice bath? That helps.

Eggs don't have to be that old. Buy them new and let them sit in your fridge for two weeks.

I like scrambled with cheddar cheese on them. Very rare I will eat fried eggs but when I do I break the yolk because I don't like it runny.

I selected other because there are so many ways I like eggs. 2 favorites are over easy and a soft boiled each has its own challenge in cooking. The only egg I have never liked is that nasty poached egg, there's always a wet slimy in the whites that reminds me of snot:ugh1::puke::ugh1:

scrambled eggs for breakfast... some milk or cream and butter. Just mixed with a fork (not whisked) and cooked slowly on low heat, in a pan or microwave, gently folded over and served with wholemeal toast on the side. Bacon during the week and with smoked salmon on Sunday morning.

lightly curried egg and lettuce sandwiches for a working lunch

fluffy omlette (whites whisked first and then yolks mixed through) filled with mushrooms, onion, bacon and cheese. Served with salad for dinner.
... mmm eggs!

Oh I have not had that in ages.... Toad In a Hole Recipe - Allrecipes.com

Soupy Sales taught me how to make this "dish" in the mid 1950s as I watched his odd television career slip and slide like spattered grease in a non-stick pan. But he never called it Toad in a Hole. He called it "How to make breakfast when your parents won't get out of bed."

Coming from a poultry-raising (among other things) family, all eggs, unless marked '"free range", are hormonally induced by feeding caged hens what is known by chickeneers as "laying mash." Along with the egg inducing hormones there are bunches of other stuff added to laying mash that you really don't want to know about.

Egg on . . . .

Thanks, gang. You've given some great ideas here that I gotta try. I'm big on breakfast ("the most important meal of the day").

My favorite sounds a little complicated but not really:
Sautee in olive oil diced onion, pepper, mushroom, celery, olive.
Meanwhile microwave a medium potato (ca. 8 mins. at 50%) and then cut it up and add it to the sizzling veggies in the pan. I also like to sprinkle a little black pepper.
When the whole concoction gets evenly hot I carefullllyyy break a couple of eggs over it. I like my yolks runny; a broken or overcooked yolk can ruin my whole day.
Lower the heat, cover the pan and let it cook till the egg white is all white but the yolk is still runny.

Goes nicely with a glass of wine.
