The best way I've found to measure my penis has always been his length by placing the tape measure against my pubic bone on top of dick, stretch tape down top of shaft, over corona of head, then down to head's slit (about 1/2 of its length if its an extra long slit). To me this gives an accurate measurement. Oh, make sure he's as stiff and enlarged as he can get! This might require taking the longest of three or four tries. As for girth just wrap tape measure around the sucker at his thickest point, even if its his head's corona. I hope this helps. Have fun!

["how do you measure your penis?"]

There is at least one other thread asking this same question, but it had only a short life way back in 2003--so:

Several internet sites give detailed instructions, some with illustrations. But all you need to know is:

For length, stand upright with a maximum stiffy, holding it at a right angle to the body, i.e., parallel with the floor. Place a ruler on the top (dorsal surface) of the penis and push it into the pubic pad until it stops against the pubic bone (for a curved penis, use a metal-tipped tape measure, taking care not to stretch it). Then looking down from above, read at the very tip of the glans (don't include any overhanging foreskin, of course). That result is the true length, the standard BPEL (Bone-Pressed Erect Length), which is preferred because pubic-pad thickness varies from individual to individual.

For girth, there are two widely suggested methods. One says to simply take the measurement around whatever section is the thickest--which seems to me to be the more logical one. The other requires three measurements of circumference: the sulcus (the groove just behind the glans), the thickest section of the shaft, and the base. Then the average of the three is taken for the definitive girth. (I suspect that some might say that the circumference of the glans should be used instead of that of the sulcus, or even in addition to it--but when one is averaging, it seems to me that just about anything goes...?)
