I've seen a few different ways of measuring online and I found the "medical" way of measuring (used in clinical research) to be measuring from the side. Whats the way most often used? I wonder because I'm 8 from the side, 7 not bone-pressed, and somewhere in between when I bone-press.

I eyeball it. I'd say I'm about 12 inches, give or take. But seriously, I agree with Industrialize fully. I'm extraordinarily tired of everyone trying to put a number on everything. You know if you're big or not. Don't be full of shit on that topic. Why do you need to know exactly how big you are? To prove you're bigger than others? What purpose does it really serve? Knowing you're 9 inches isn't going to make you better or worse at sex. Telling people you're 9 inches REALLY isn't going to make you better or worse. The number is absolutely meaningless, so why get hung-up on it?

It is more a measure of whether or not I belong on this site. I consider 7.5 large as the average is between 5.5 and 6 so I dont think anyone that isn't 7.5 or above really is that "large" and therefore may not want to be a part of this site. That's the reason Im interested

If ya wanna be on the site, be on the site. There wouldn't be females here if there was a size requirement. Welcome

Well, since there is so uncertainty about this issue and the fact we constantly have new people joining, maybe we need a permanent link with exact measuring instructions. I was always taught, and the way we did it at contests, is on the TOP size, with the zero end of the ruler only slightly pushed into the pubic hair (if there is any) and then measure on the TOP side to the end slit.
Measuring underneath, the porn star way, can add lots of inches.

Thanks. Here's a website I found with a good description of how to do it. Step by Step for anyone interested.
