How do you photograph your cock?

Some of you -- okay, a lot of you -- have really nice self-pics in the gallery. I tried to take some pics of my cock the other day with my cell phone cam and they just looked bad. Badly lit, out of focus, off-center etc.

How do you all take pictures of yourselves? do you have special cameras? Do you get people to take the pic for you? Does anyone in the NYC area want to try to take a flattering picture of my cock?

Each time i've attemtped to photograph my cock, or anything else, I've used a camera. Cameras work quite well for photography.

Well, I am not the best at taking pics.. but if you have a steady hand, good lighting, the flash on, and a decent digital cam...

I would think you would be ok.

I have a really old, cheap 2.0 megapixel digital camera that I use.

It has a 10 second timer and a flash that works when it wants to. Depending on the lighting (artificial, natural) and the cam flash, the pic can come out looking different.

I usually have pron on in the backgroud so that I can stay 90-95% hard when the cam takes the pic--most times I stroke right up until before the timer goes off (the cam has a red light that counts down for you).

Then, if it is off-center or a little blurred, I use a photo program like Picasa (from Google) to straighten or crop it and I use Arc PhotoImpression (which comes with most Webcams) to tag it with my name.

The most important thing (IMHO) is to get the lighting right. Some sya that the flash is enough but, with lighter skin types (such as mine) a flash will white out alot of detail. As Lex said, I also use porn to keep a full erection if thats what I'm aiming for. Also, for different angles, I use mirros so I don't have to contort my body into wierd positions. A tripod (and a remote control that comes with a lot of cameras) helps get a steady shot from what ever height and angle you want.

Lighting is everything. A timer is also key--no need need to worry about being steady. Also--for every good pic I get, I have mabye 10 awful shots that I trash.

I look darker/lighter in many of my pics do moreso to lighting than to sun exposure.

Being brown, the camera tends to get most of my detail.

My (old) camera is a Nikon CoolPix 2200. Yes, it is THAT old. (but it still takes a decent picture).

Lighting is paramount, but as others have noted a decent digital camera with a remote and/or timer can be quite helpful as well. Personally, I rarely use a flash (literally or figuratively :wink for self-pics because I have rather light skin as it is. Indirect lighting can produce some really intriguing effects, so don't be afraid to experiment.

As for someone taking pics of your cock for you, I'm sure you can find someone under 'P' in the phone book (for prevert). :biggrin1:

You guys are absolutely correct, Lex & Veep ! A timer is neccessary for the really hard to get shots if you don't have someone else to help you. I especially find any photos where you try to take a picture from underneath yourself w/o a timer is impossible. And i have so many mess up pictures its not even funny ... good info to know !!!

I immediately trash all pics I don't like.

Almost all my shots were taken with a cheap Polaroid Fun Flash (Photomax) digital camera (640x480 image size) - tho recently acquired a newer Polaroid digital.. i don't use timers.

Just hold yer arm out aim and shoot. Like Lex, delete the ones u don't like (or missed).

Only editing i do is sharpening the image, color correction, and/or contrast if needed. Basically point and click... not rocket science.

most of my pics are done using a mirror

for either taking the photo or viewing the lcd screen on my phone (for some reason I have only done dick pics using my phone) - full body shots have been done using the timer (aka the scarf shot)

but being a photographer - I actually keep every photo i take
a great photo can be found in a bad photo by cropping (not quite sure if that would apply to dick pics though)

Self timer, digital camera (doesn't even need to be elaborate model), lighting. I'm very fair, so the flash can be hit or miss. I usually turn off the flash and rely on good daylight exposure.

i took mine with a $99 kodak digit. camera...so are kinda dark...didnt wanna open blinds since people walk past my bedroom window... as soon as i get time an opportunity i have a friend an she's gonna take some for me

Though none are posted here - yet, I used the company's old Mavica, until it was broken while on loan to someone using it to take a picture of a car for sale. I preferred this because it was formatted to load a jpeg directly to a disk. I found lighting was better than a flash and using a tripod with timer gave the best results. Digital is great for getting results fast and chucking the poor ones.
