How do you post pics and/or videos?

This is not a joke. I am one of the least computer savvy people you will probably run into on the internet.

How would I get pictures or videos onto my album and gallery section? What about posting them in this forum.

I'm working up my nerve, and if I have to figure out how to do it when the mood strikes, that may give me the time to change my mind.
