I, too, have oft witnessed the phenomenon of incomplete condom-ment.:tongue:

I theorize two possible causes:

1) The condom is just too fucking short

or

2) The guy is thicker near the base of his shaft (which seems pretty common). So, naturally, even if you roll the condom all the way down there, it just rolls right back up again. I have seen this happen in real time!

And, of course, the second cause could also occur simultaneously with the first cause, making it physically impossible to wear it like a sock and not a hat.

Well, my dick is thicker at the base and even though I try to roll the condom all the way down, it just seems to roll back up part way. that's okay as long it stays in place and doen't break. Lots of lube helps.

I can sometimes get the condom all the way down and when i can, i do. Its not like it matters. With my gf we have slowly started to use condoms less and less but im starting to think twice about that now.

If you buy one that fits properly it'll stay put. For the guys with the cone shaped endowments, try the Four X brand. If you tend to be very thick and long try the They Fit brand availble on the web. There's no excuse for not having a condom that fits properly, besides it's not worth risking your life.

The only time I tried, I could stretch it over the business end with some difficulty and attendant pain, but ran out of rubber long before I reached the end, and there was no way to keep the thing on. There's no problem with variable thickness - it's pretty much the same girth all the way. But there was nothing to keep the free end of the rubber where it's supposed to be. So I tried holding it in place with duct tape - I believe I mentioned that misadventure the last time this question was asked here on the board. Fortunately there was no velcro available, or I might have tried that. Desperate situations call for desperate measures. But the tape didn't keep it on. The whole operation was ridiculous. I have no idea how the guys in the movies keep them on only half-way down. Special effects, maybe.

I understand there are some novelty sizes available now, which I haven't tried.
