Jason,
Good thing I descended from a bastard line and didn't inherit a title. Thanks for straightening me out.
Goodwood,
As I understand it, a grand aunt/uncle is one of your parent's aunts or uncles. A great grand aunt/uncle is one of your grandparents aunts or uncles and so on down the line.
It is fun knowing part of my family history. it doesn't change that I come from a normal lower middle-class family but its interesting to see where some of our traditions came from like donating our time to make our community better. We are very lucky a distant cousin wrote a book about it (Northrepps Grandchildren). Obviously not a big seller except within the family. The family history goes back to before the Battle of Hastings and William the Conqueror (He wasn't a relative just one of his generals or something.). The family name was Guerney and they were bankers which later was bought by their Barclay cousins who naturally changed the bank to Barclay's. Other family names are Buxton and Frye.
